Perfect - clean and functional, ideal for our need for a place to stopover on our way from ferry port before our long drive the next day. There is a bar and restaurant. Only real drawback was that there was no tea/coffee making facilities.

This is a clean, modern IBIS and good value for money. Excellent restaurant next door and friendly and helpful staff in reception. A good location for Caen, the landing beaches and Bayeux. We were very pleased with our visit

Long journey from Agen to Caen in a day. Hotel was all that we expect from Ibis. Staff friendly & welcoming. Room clean & cool. Dinner in restaurant superb. First stay here. Would be happy to stay again.

Warm welcome in good English. Room was spacious and clean. There was a good-sized shower. Comfortable bed. Impressed by standard of sound proofing. Only negative was that there was only one extra pillow.

Have used Ibis a number of times. Relatively easy to find, not too far from the ferry port and on the southern side of Caen. Didn't use the restaurant except for breakfast but when we arrived late evening it seemed very well patronised. Would certainly use this hotel again.

We had thought we'd have problems finding the hotel but it was very easy and we were pleasantly surprised at the location being so close to the ring road (easy to find our way out the next day) but also that it was fairly quiet. We arrived late (after 10pm) and checked in easily and quickly. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was reasonable. There is a grill restaurant linked to the hotel which closes at 11pm - the service there was slow and the menu basic but the chicken and chips were good and plentiful. There is a Burger King over the road. The only thing we'd have liked extra was coffee making facilities in our room - OK, this is France but more French hotels are now providing this service and it would be nice to see the Ibis follow suit. We'll definitely use this hotel again.

Very accessible and efficient in the Ibis tradition. Just off Caen periferique. Breakfast OK. Bedrooms comfortable. Quiet. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. What else can I say. Are my 200 characters minimum up?

Very good hotel no frill. I would go back anytime. Clean and comfortable. Just beside a Mcdonald. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, a little expensive but good. I used this hotel as a base to visit the Area. Easy assess from the freeway.

My family was very pleased with our stay at the hotel. It was conveniently located off the highway, close to Caen and the D-Day sites. Within walking distance is a McDonalds but further down the road are other restaurants, bars, bakeries and a Carrefour. The hotel itself compared very favorably to other French hotels I have visited. Simple, yet modern. The room and bathroom were large and well lit, very comfortable and not at all cramped. Great value, I would return if in the area again.

We stayed here for seven nights. The rooms were of a decent size, though not as clean as they could have been, but good enough. Some days we left a towel on the floor indicating we wanted it replaced, but it wasn't, that was inconvenient. Breakfast was great, staff was very helpful. On our last night, a group of about 70 teenagers stayed at the hotel, making a lot of noise, running in the hallways and occasionally knocking on our door by mistake. It lasted until 23h, which was quite annoying, especially since we had a long drive ahead of us the next day. I don't understand why such a hotel, used by businessmen and travelers, accepts these kinds of parties. I think they would have been better off in a youth hostel. It is a shame our holiday had to end like that.

Great location, very helpful staff, hugely comfortable beds, very quiet despite being close to the peripherique. Breakfast was not superb value for money - very average and could be so much better. When we we there, a tour bus had just passed through and the staff forgot to replenish the stocks for the business travellers - those who pay full rate. The manager took corrective action when prompted but it was all bitty and a bit too late and not up to standard.

Ideally located for our requirements, this comfortable budget hotel provided all the facilities that were needed for a short stay. The associated restaurant produced a wide choice of good food for breakfast and for evening meals.
