Not sure if I got lucky or if all the rooms were as spacious as mine. A total of 9 separate windows between the 3 clean rooms in my corner unit! Couch, desk, bar, reading nook, refrigerator, large TV, full sized wardrobe and dresser! Unit 608 was a nice treat for this budget friendly solo traveler! Staff was pleasant, but skip the restaurant in the lobby- separate review on my profile.

This hotel was not our own choice, but was picked by the tour group that we are joining. We came in three days early and stayed in the same hotel. We are delighted by the service here, the room itself, the restaurants in the hotel, and the overall appearance. It is centrally located and convenient to the historic zone downtown. The restaurant appearance is fabulous a blend of natural materials and historic art. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Restaurant had a wide selection, including many traditional Eduadorian dishes. The ceviche and soup were outstanding. We had great service from Diana, who provided excellent recommendations. Definitely recommend

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Alameda Hotel. The room included a nice sitting room and was clean. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety. We enjoyed speaking with Guillermo in the bar. We always enjoy learing about life in the areas we visit. Guillermo was a great guy and spent time telling us what it is like living in Ecuador.
