Elegant hotel

Very attractive hotel with adequate size rooms. Very clean. Service was excellent and staff friendly. Beds are comfortable. Housekeeping is good. Filtered water source o every floor. Room temperature was good. Bathroom clean and warm shower.

Very blah neighborhood. Stuffy rooms and mediocre, repetitive breakfast buffet. We were with a group which seems like a significant majority of their business. I would much rather have stayed in old city but not my call. 200 characters required. Got there, whew!

We had four nights at this hotel, two at start of our visit to Eucador and two at the end. We have no complaints at all. Firstly, the staff were exceptional; everyone one we dealt with, at reception, in the bar and in the restaurant was extremely helpful, all also had reasonable to good English-language skills. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, and that applies to bathroom too. Good wifi reception throughout and also like there was drinking-water available on every floor. The restaurant also good, both for dinner plus an excellent buffet breakfast. Nearby are the Artisans markets - where there real bargains to be had! - and also a restaurant we would highly recommend, Miskay. The only negative is that the hotel is located in a business precinct and on the Sunday the neighbourhood was extremely quiet, with most businesses like cafes etc also closed.

Lovely spa

We arrived in the evening so made our way to the PH top floor to enjoy the spa while we could still see the city and far mountain view. It was a wonderful spa before and after the Amazon Rainforest. A small swimming pool, a hot tub, steam bath, sauna seeing the city and the shower rooms with the massage jets. Just remember to bring your swim cap (if not pay USD 5). They did say so at the spa reception, to maintain the cleanliness. Restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast. Service friendly. Room was very spacious with a generous sitting area. Overall a comfortable stay before and after the Rainforest!!!

The hotel's location is good. It is close to the markets, which are worth visiting. The room is clean, and the services are very efficient. During our stay, we had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. We noticed that the restaurant is certified to HACCP (food hygiene), and the kitchen team members demonstrated good hygiene practices. There is only one tiny thing: the waiter at dinner time may be a part-time student or intern. The services and response may not be skilled. However, we concluded that we happy during our stay.
