Easy parking, friendly staff and close to restaurants + Messe Essen

Stayed here two times now, while attending Messe Essen. Staff was friendly and good at English. Parking easy, taxis easy and short walking distance to many restaurants. Poor pillow selection and very firm bed unfortunately, but apart from that the rooms are nice and spacious. TV sound is horrible and noise from hallway/other rooms travel easily. In 2019 we stayed at the first floor facing the street, which was very noisy. In 2025 on the 4th floor facing the street, which was no problem. Breakfast buffet is fantastic, much better and more comprehensive than one would expect from a hotel of this size. Service, cleaning and filling up the stations was fast as well. Highly recommend it.

Nice hotel. Location is not amazing, slightly outside the centre, but it is a good place. Easy parking, the staff are nice and the rooms are all great. Would have not hesitations in returning. People moan about Essen but there are some nice residential areas just outside with lots of bars and restaurants

Lovely modern hotel; clean and spacious with outdoor seating areas. Friendly reception staff with no queuing. Loved the free pic & mix and little biscuits! Near to U Bahn and local shops/cafes. 15 mins walk into Essen. Would definitely recommend.

We had a couple good nights in the hotel. It has a good location. The hotel is clean and offer coffee and some sweets in the lobby (complimentary). The staff were friendly and helpful. If you don’t ask every day cleaning you can even choose a free soft drink in the bar or extra point on your Accor account that is very green positive.

It is a perfect hotel - big, very cleen, very quiet rooms, nice bathtub, very good tasty breakfast (eggs, rice pudding, fruits, hams, cheeses, meatballs etc), cosy bar room with big piano, nice garden to have a breakfast, air conditioner, close the station.
