They hate guests

Dear olafk92, thank you for your feedback regarding your stay in our hotel. We always want our guests to have a good experience in our house, so it was very devastating to read that you didn´t. We like to inform you that our reception indeed is not open 24h, we close at 12 and open again from 17 to 22. Between 12 and 17 our guests have the possibility to use our check-in terminal which is normally open right after we close the reception. We would like to add that the check-in start at 14:00. Sometimes when it´s possible and after talking to us, we are willing to let our guests check-in before 14:00. In our house rules and when you book a room at our hotel it displays that the check-in is at 14:00 like in most hotels. It´s very unfair to still make this comment even though all this information was available when you booked a room in our hotel and it has nothing to do with our service. We are sorry that you were frustrated and if you are willing to visit our hotel again, please tell us before about your arriving time if it´s before 14:00 so that we can arrange it. Dear Guest, We very much regret that you did not feel comfortable with us, despite the quiet location of the room. The "budget" division of the ibis family is a pioneer in terms of value for money. This is one of the basic accents of the ibis budget concept. We offer practical and functional rooms at a fair price. We and our partner "Accor" are fully aware that the ibis budget in Duisburg needs refreshing. This will happen soon. For you information: the Accor Group maintains around 90 ibis budget hotels in Germany and Austria. With this number of houses, there is a renovation backlog, where in the worst case, an "old to be impression" could arise, is unfortunately unavoidable. And we apologize for that. Thanks again for your comments. Of course, these are a source of food for thought in order to speed up the already planned renovation measures. Nevertheless, I would like to assure you that our hotel team does everything in their power to make every stay of our guests as beautiful and as pleasant as possible. Unfortunately, we did not succeed in this case. We are very sorry. Nevertheless, we would be happy to welcome you again as a guest with us. We wish you all the best!
