Good food for dinner. Nice ambiance and very comfortable. Romantic dinner with my gf feels more intimate in this situation. Happy for us, happy for the hotel. Need improvement in maintaining mosquitos nearby.

I stayed on 22-24 November 2023, I occupied a superior room, and I think this superior room is big enough for me to stay alone, in my opinion the location is very strategic because it is in the middle of the city and the distance from the airport is not far only only about 30 minutes from the airport I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff from Novotel Palembang, thank you to Pak Taufik, Mba Gracia and Mba Jihan for their extraordinary service during my stay at the Novotel Palembang Hotel

Novotel palembang, one of the best accor hotel i had visit. Lia and lina from reception are true germs in their area, always providing exceptional service with a smile. They go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a memorable stay. The attention to detail and personalized touch they offer is truly commendable. The warm welcome and efficiency they exhibit truly make Novotel palembang a standout hotel. Bella in the restaurant, also very energetic. She enthusiastically greeted the waiter with a wide smile. Bella's lively presence filled the air, creating an infectious energy among the other diners. As she sat down at her table, her excitement was palpable. Bella's vibrant personality added an extra touch of liveliness to the already bustling atmosphere of the restaurant.

Very great and nice hotel with nice rooms, services, crews, foods, facilities. Great breakfast and welcoming crews during breakfast (Pak Chandra and Pak Taufik always recognize us when we stay here).

The room I stayed in was impressively spacious, with plenty of corners to explore. However, it's worth noting that the room layout was a bit odd, with even the toilet bowl tucked away in a dimly lit corner. This design choice lent an eerie feeling to the space, which was far from welcoming. My room also had a bedsheet with a huge noticeable stain, which was an immediate turn-off. (See pic attached) Cleanliness is a fundamental expectation, and this was a letdown. The hotel's exterior exuded a Balinese resort vibe, complete with a sprawling garden and a generously sized pool. This was a nice touch and offered a relaxing atmosphere, in contrast to the room's quirkiness. Breakfast at the hotel was a pleasant surprise, with a diverse and well-prepared buffet spread that catered to various tastes. However, Novotel Palembang's location left much to be desired, as it seemed more tailored to the local crowd and wasn't particularly convenient for tourists. Now, for the more perplexing aspects. The hotel's association with a "Men Health Spa" and also connected to the mysterious Executive Night Club, concealed behind high-security doors, cast a shadow over the overall experience. Let's just say it's the type you and I both know about, and it left a rather uncomfortable vibe in the vicinity. The secretive nature of the club, complete with well-dressed women going in-and -out of the staff entrance, and booming music late at night, gave the hotel an unsavory atmosphere. Moreover, the hotel's affiliation with an Executive Night Club, concealed behind high-security doors, was unsettling. The secretive nature of the club, complete with well-dressed women and booming music late at night, gave the hotel an unsavory atmosphere. In conclusion, while Novotel Palembang offers a large room and a resort-like ambiance, the odd room layout and the hotel's curious affiliations made for a less than enjoyable stay. Location-wise, it might not be the ideal choice for travelers. For these reasons, I wouldn't be inclined to return.
