Dear Mr. G., Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to learn that your stay did not meet your expectations, especially as it was connected to an important occasion for you and your wife. We would like to clarify that upon your arrival, you informed our reception team about your wife's dust allergy and your preference for a room without carpet. Unfortunately, due to the late hour of your check-in and the hotel's occupancy at that time, we were unable to offer an immediate room change. Our team advised you to return to the reception desk the following morning so that we could arrange a room relocation as soon as a suitable room became available. However, we did not receive any further request regarding the room change during the remainder of your stay. In addition, as an alternative solution, our reception team offered a complimentary cancellation of the remaining nights should you decide that the accommodation did not meet your needs. This option was also not pursued. Regarding the room type, we regret that it did not correspond to your expectations. We continuously strive to ensure that room descriptions accurately reflect the accommodation offered, and we appreciate your comments in this regard. We would also like to address your remarks concerning the renovation works. Information about the ongoing refurbishment is provided on Booking.com before completing the reservation process, as well as on-site within the hotel. Furthermore, during your stay, we did not receive any complaints or reports regarding noise or disturbance related to the renovation works, which are conducted during designated daytime hours. We sincerely regret that your experience left you disappointed. Please be assured that guest satisfaction remains our highest priority, and your comments have been shared with the relevant teams for review. Our records show that the reservation was completed directly under the standard full rate, which did not include any promotional discounts or bundled amenities such as complimentary breakfast. Please note that our system requires promotional codes to be validated and applied at the time of booking to alter the rate structure and include specific package perks. While we were unable to modify the core terms of your self-booked rate at check-in, our team did provide an immediate room upgrade to a higher category for the entire duration of your stay to enhance your comfort.
