That was terrible! I had an awful experience speaking with the manager. She spoke to me extremely rude and disrespectfully! I won’t recommend to anyone staying in this hotel with such unprofessional, rude bad-mannered and impolite staff!

It is concerning to hear that you found interactions with management to be less than satisfactory, we don't recognize this at all, since we are always very professional and handle along the behavior of the guests. Nonetheless, we are situated in an ideal location in the heart of The Hague, offering easy access to the city's vibrant shopping areas, cultural landmarks, and the beautiful Scheveningen beach. Disappointing

The staff were really nice and helpful, food at the bar was acceptable. The room was small, hot, stuffy and basic, and overlooked quite a noisy road. We had to ask for a fan (no aircon) ask for a kettle (no tea/coffee making facility) and although we were given mugs with the kettle, we were not given any tea or coffee! Thank goodness I travel with supplies. Nowhere to put anything, they obviously assume people only stay one or two nights, we had 9 nights (for a sports tournament) and found the lack of space challenging, we were provided with about a dozen coat hangers, at least there was hanging space! A double room with only one chair is an interesting concept. Room servicing was minimal, bed thrown together, clean towels provided, dirty cups not dealt with except by us. And for a Accor to claim they are trying to be planet friendly, the plastic bathroom was something to behold. Along with plastic tables and chairs I did not see much that was environmentally friendly. Breakfast had a good variety and the staff were able to provide me with gluten free rolls every morning for which I was very grateful, shame there were no other specific GF foods so thank goodness for the cheeses, ham and eggs. Overall disappointing, on the plus side, easy to access places of interest, trams and restaurants.

I stayed in this property for two nights and must say the location was good. The rooms were comfortable and clean If you expect something fancy this isn’t the place but for basic stay and great location I would give it a 5 star! All in all a comfortable 2N stay

Good location, clean and spacious rooms, sufficient for the price paid, could have done with a few more towels in the room (no hand towels) and some tea/coffee facilities. We had 2 interconnecting room as a group of 4 friends in The Hague for a parkrun.

Unexpectedly terrible experience in a nice-looking hotel

TL;DR: the staff is just awful. Regarding the rooms and interior, things that are present there are of good quality (bed, table, chair, shower), but some things are missing (there is no fridge/minibar, no teapot). Also, it is too cold in the room, less than 20 degrees, without the option to control it. The breakfast is rather good. The hotel does not accept cash payments In more detail: my experience with this hotel started when I was getting into the plane. I received an email that the hotel tried to charge the price for the room from my card, at it was not available. During the booking I specifically chose the option to pay at the hotel (which was more expensive). I immediately contacted the hotel by the email telling that there was a failed attempt to charge/reserve the money, but I am going to pay when I arrive. The staff replied to me telling that everything is Okay, my reservation is preserved. They also asked me about a more exact arrival time. We subsequently exchanged some more emails. Due to a flight delay, I arrived at the hotel only at 04:30. The first thing I experienced there is that entrance doors were closed and the staff member was talking to me by an intercom, and the first thing he said is that there are no rooms. That surprised me since I was writing those emails trying to keep them informed about my arrival time. After being told that I have a reservation the staff member has let me in, but the said that they have computer problems and that computers are offline, and for that reason he does not see my reservation. After some more time he said that he somehow found my reservation, but it is cancelled because an attempt to reserve money on my card has failed. Which means that they lied to me by email saying that my booking is OK. And all that happens at 04:30 when I am of course super tired and want to sleep badly. He that said that luckily the room that was designated for me was still free and I can re-create the reservation right now, at the counter (which was more expensive as far as I remember and actually sounds like cheating considering those emails). I said that I want to pay in cash and the staff member told me that they did not accept cash payments at all. This was not mentioned on the website and was a complete surprise for me. I said that I did not have a full amount of required money on my card, and the staff member offered me to go to the street and look for another hotel. All of that happening in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar city. After some thinking I offered the staff to split the reservation into 2, of which I was paying the first, smaller one, immediately, and second one later. I specifically asked if I will have to change rooms and the staff member told me that I won't - the room in the second reservation will be the same. The next day, when paying for the second reservation, the person at the counter (now the different one) was trying to charge me for the whole stay, not for the remaining part. Thankfully I noticed that the amount of money was wrong and and we figured out the correct amount. On the third day new absurd things started to happen. My first reservation has ended, but I was confident that new reservation started without me having to do anything. Around the afternoon I going to change my clothes, and before that I have put a "do not disturb" sign on my door. However, while I was changing clothes the cleaning staff member knocked at the door and, before I could say anything, opened it. I was not fully dressed, but, nevertheless, they started talking to me saying that the have to clean the room and that I should check out. I told them that I am not, and the door closed. I was standing in the room being super super surprised and doing nothing. And until I did anything, this whole thing repeated the second time. Another cleaning staff member knocked at the door, opened it immediately after that despite the "do not disturb" sign and started arguing with me although I was not full dressed. Only after some time the staff member agreed to go to the reception desk together and ask them. After that they closed the door. I got dressed and exited the room to go the reception desk. And when I exited the staff member said that while I was dressing she actually called the reception and they told her that I indeed can stay in that room.
