As traveling for business I need a EU/VAT-invoice, which any normal hotel will give you on paper, so you have some kind of proof to show up to your Company accountant. But not on this hotel - they do not print/have a printer, but promises to send the invoice to your email. As the stay was booked via the ALL-App, you think all will be OK, also my email-address was confirmed at payment. But over a month ago and 4 written requests, with all payment details given, both via the ALL-app and directly to the hotel's official email-address - still no invoice, just a non-commitment reply by "Lucila", their AI-bot for answering Customer-complaints. I have now made a formal complaint with our Company's bank to refuse the payment, as that may be the only way to force an invoice. My Company has due to this delay lost the ability to request back the VAT and I may have to pay the cost from my own pocket, as I have no invoice to verify the cost...

We usually love Novotel but didn't like this one at all. Staff did the bare minimum and had no knowledge of local transport etc. Pool is so deep that my 6 foot husband could only tip toe. Most adults couldn't stand so made it very hard to support younger children or play with them. Breakfast was chaos and the chefs (where you go to order eggs) weren't coping. You were allowed only 2 ingredients in your omelette - weird. The website is misleading - whilst it's close to the metro/train, it takes 3 different trains and almost an hour to get into the city. Two different train networks too, so you have to pay twice. Wouldn't recommend at all. Has slightly put us off the accor brand.

Nice hotel, the quality you’d expect from a Novotel in nice set up of foyer, outdoor areas and rooms. The pool is a good size which our kids enjoyed, would agree with other travellers posts there are drain smells in certain parts of the pool and garden which you need to avoid. The hotel is 4 miles from the airport but with traffic is a c.€20 taxi. There is not much in walking distance but there are public transport options.

My family and I just stayed at Novotel last week. We had an amazing experience. One of the managers (Anna) was a delight and made sure the room was perfect.

Basic hotel, small rooms but good value for the money. It is not close to downtown, but close to airport and cruise port. Check in/out was annoying as too many people and not enough help but we survived. Food was decent and the breakfast buffet was a very good deal and had a lot of options. Pool is small but works, although maybe the towel boy shouldn't walk around with a lifeguard shirt on when he is not a lifeguard and didn't help when a woman went into the pool, not realizing how deep it was, couldn't swim and her husband had to jump in to help her in his clothes. Market close by to grab snacks/food, otherwise not much nearby to eat other than Burger King.
