Firstly, the hotel is in a very convenient location for Hull Arena and the staff are really friendly. Plus, whilst there is no hotel carpark, there is a multi-storey carpark just up the road, which only costs £3.50 for 24 hours. BUT, the rooms are extremely tired, the air con doesn't seem to work and you can hear other guests throughout the hotel, all night it seems. So, bring your ear plugs! The bed was fairly comfortable but the bathroom was just like a plastic pod in the corner of the room. Anyway, I don't think I would choose to stay in an Ibis again, I will stick to the other low cost hotel chains as this was just a bit too 'budget' for me

This hotel isn’t plush or fancy, in fact it’s in need of a bit of TLC however the staff are fantastic. From the moment you walk in they really can’t do enough for you. Sisters Leighanne and Linda are brilliant on reception but I can honestly say from the cleaners to the kitchen and bar staff every member of this team were great. They turned a 3* hotel stay into a 5* experience. Thanks guys.

The rooms are perfect and clean the bathroom has just what you need. Comfy bed and the tv works. What makes this place better though is the staff. They can't do enough for you. Available 24/7 will make you cheese ans ham toasties in the middle of the night or a coffee and hot chocolate.

Just back from a two night stay at this hotel and must agree with previous reviews the cleanliness of the hotel is superb and the staff some of the most helpful and friendly I have come across including the maintenance man who we met in the lift. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and yes it is a very dated and basic hotel as reflects the price but we would certainly stay again.

Ive used this hotel several times now and am impressed by the high standards they observe, rooms are always clean and well appointed , staff are always very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I really enjoy staying here and would highly recommend staying here. Only a short walk to the railway/bus terminus.
