I can’t speak highly enough of this hotel , we had an early flight and we were at the end of a busy week. Check in was slick, the room beautiful and perfectly equipped, we had swim and a sauna to relax followed by dinner on the top floor. The food was sublime and the service surpassed excellent, we were looked after the very charming Dimitris ( the tall one ) who made our evening with his wit and subtle professionalism, he is a credit to the Sofitel group. Everything was fabulous.

What a wonderful place to stay after a long flight of if leaving on one. I made a video review of the hotel on YouTube titled: Athens Greece Sofitel Airport Hotel - V-Log Full Tour with Narration and review. We arrived at the hotel around 10:00 am and we were checked in and our room was ready which was so nice. The room was beautiful with a fantastic bed and pillows. We had a nice lunch in the hotel restaurant and had the hors-d'-oeuvres for dinner in the executive club room. I have to say the executive room was a nice get away and we took in breakfast there the following morning. I highly recommend visiting the rooftop restaurant and bar which is really nice. The location is fantastic - you walk out the front door, across the road and you are in the terminal. Go up one level and you are at ticketing which is so nice. Highly recommend this hotel with 5-star service.

High Points: dog friendly, close access to all points regarding the airport with pharmacy, grocery, and florist Unique Points: pet garden, outdoor area, very quiet for airport hotel; Vicky at the front desk checked us in like humans and pleasantries and humanity and kindness; this is RARE! Low Points: some rooms show some age even on executive level but still a buzzing hospitable and clean place to stay; room card offered 4 bottles of water yet we received only 2; yes we know the tap is drinkable.

We stayed in the Sofitel Athens Airport hotel in June. We booked a Superior Room in June. We had an early flight out of Athens the next day, so the convenience of this hotel appealed to us. You literally walk across one airport road to the terminal. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the shower was huge, the rental cars were within walking distance. There was a large staff, and they were quick and respectful of guest’s time. It’s a modern hotel with a nice bar. We didn’t eat at the restaurant or order room service so can’t speak to that. Overall it’s a great value and the location is everything.

This is a very nice hotel and super convenient to the airport. We had a nice roomy room with spacious bathroom (s), the toilet is in a separate room from the sink and shower. I’ve attached several pictures of the hotel, Mesoghaia dining room, and our room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shower / tub arrangement was interesting but provided a nice warm shower.
