I don't know where to start my partner and I have just checked out this morning, leaving earlier than should have. I did not feel the hotel was very clean once you passed the entrance, hall floor carpets upon exiting the lifts were stained and manky, had mold spores in bathroom wasn't the cleanest will add pic to show, bathroom tiles were all dirty at lower level , I don't know when the top of bed was last polished as was dusty,I ran my finger across top and was covered. That's to name a few. Then in restaurant lastnight we ordered dinner and I can't eat spicy food and my pizza came c9vered in chilli flakes so left 3/ of it. Staff were not helpful at all. Only staff member ti smile was on reception this morning. I'm according member and def not back to this hotel

Very welcoming staff, given a different room early as ours wasn’t ready yet which was great as we had travelled over 126 miles and my two young kids really needed a break from moving around. The room was spacious, clean and felt like somewhere you could sit and write a book in, I know that won’t make sense to some but that’s the vibe it gave me. We didn’t try the food or room service but the menu was so incredibly varied and sounded delicious, if we ever stay again then we would definitely have dinner in our room. They even have toys in the lobby so if you want to sit and have a coffee or a quiet drink while the kids play them that’s an option. The location is perfect if you plan to shop/eat/hit the town without having to walk for long periods of time. Great for kids little legs. Over all would definitely chose to stay again.

This was our 2nd stay with you in a week. First visit was an upgrade couldn’t fault anything. We had room service for dinner as we were going to a show lovely pizza. Breakfast had everything you could want. Comfy beds no noise during the night. Bliss. Our 2nd stay we had dinner in the hotel great food again. Best burger had in ages. Lovely attentive staff. We will definitely be back.

Received the ribeye steak. Waited 30 minutes on my food however it came out with no pepercorn sauce, I wanted a further 10 on the sauce so I sent the food back to be reheated. The first time I received the food because the steak was left on top of the chips the chips were soggy and the steak slightly undercooked to my liking, the onions were over salted a lot. The second time my food was delivered was 45 minutes after ordering and the place only had two other tables in that time- one received their food before I ordered and the other hadn't ordered yet. The second time the peppercorn sauce was watered down gravy with black pepper in it. Other than being very hungry I'd of asked for a refund and went else where. Wouldn't recommend the restaurant at all.

Nicely located near the city centre, although on a steep road if you are dragging your bags. Only 5 min walk to a great variety of restaurants. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The room was adequate for a 4 star hotel with the expected amenities. The room is spacious.
