It had been refurbished but the carpets and furnishings showed signs of wear and tear. There was staining on the carpets but overall, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was excellent only 20 minutes from the city centre by train. There is an over/underpass to get to the Green Lane train station. Even though the hotel is located near the motor way it is very quiet and we did not hear any traffic noise. The most noise we heard was from the adjacent room on our last night. We complained and it stopped. The breakfast spread was good, and it included a selection of gluten free items. This is the first Accor hotel where we have not received our amenity gift in recognition of our platinum status. Maybe the hotel no longer participates in the loyalty rewards scheme?

Needs some maintenance but basics right

Stayed for one night on a business trip so I wasn’t paying luckily. The place has the basics right but the room I was in 1017, was needing maintenance. See photos. The room was nice and quiet and generally clean as the positives. But the hole jn the curtain and wobbly towel rail with exposed filler (which you see when sat on the toilet) was sub standard. The cramped bathroom with the door opening as others have said is not ideal and door was needing sanding and painting. A sliding door would fix this. Staff were polite, professional and available.

Can believe that cost savings take precedence over customer satisfaction. Dumbest thing ever done, turning off the paid TV channels in rooms. No movies or sport which has been available for years. I was told I could stream my own services. As an international visitor my services don't work outside of Australia (Fox NOW, etc). Charge extra for paid TV services, I wouldn't care but turn them back on. I'll consider staying elsewhere from now on even though I'm an ACCOR member.

Our decision to transition away from certain paid TV services was not taken lightly and was part of a broader effort to adapt to evolving guest preferences and technolog usage. That said, we acknowleddge that this change doesn't suit every traveler, particulary those whose streaming services aren't accessible outside their home country. Your suggestion to offer paid TV as an optional, chargeable service is a valuable one, and we will be passing this on to our management team for serious consideration. We never want cost-cuttting to come at the expense of guest comfort, and your feedback is a clear reminder of the impact such changes can have. De kamers waren modern & zeer schoon. Het bed was comfortabel, maar de kussens niet. We dronken een drankje aan de bar & dat was een goede waarde, en genoten van een Indiaas buffet wat ook een goede waarde was. Wij waren onder de indruk van het gratis gebruik van het internet.

Dineren is duur zelfs met de Accor card en we konden net zo makkelijk elders heengaan en net zo'n goede maaltijd goedkoper krijgen. Goede locatie, makkelijk te vinden, goede kamers en geweldige fitnessruimte, een goede plek om te verblijven. Ik heb er reeds vele malen verbleven, een van de weinigen die niet voor een parkeerplaats rekenen, wat geweldig is. Ik verwacht niet in een hotel te verblijven en te moeten betalen voor het parkeren.
