Hotel was clean and in a very good location in Wellington. Lots of cafes right around the corner and easy walking distance to the cable car, the museum, and the pickup spot for the Weta Workshop tour. This line of hotels just gives one type of soap in the shower that’s a 3-in-1 soap, shampoo, and body wash. No conditioner is offered. Hand soap is by the sink. They have laundry for a small cost and the machines have their own laundry soap that automatically adds to the wash so you don’t have to worry about someone else having used too much before you and leaving residue.

Hotel is in a great spot and within walking distance to pretty much everything. Close enough to the airport and the buffet breakfast was a bonus.

I used it as a one night base to visit family. The bed was very comfortable. There was a pillow choice but the phone in my room wouldn't work and I found out late at night. I was not given the internet password so I don't know what happens there. The reception held my bags until check in time. You need to pay more for early check in, before 2pm, or book yourself the night before. Hot water, clean, tea coffee jug, own temperature control. Taxi stand right in front of hotel. Woolworths supermarket one Street back, waterfront two streets before. Post Office across the road. Shops around. Restaurant looked nice but I didn't use.. plenty of choice as around. I would definitely stay again

Wellington中心部で周りにレストラン他お店もあり、立地は全く問題なし。 ただし部屋の位置に寄っては道を挟んだ向かい側のInterContinental Hotelの部屋から丸見えなので気になる。 また、ホテル内にGym無し。 部屋にドライヤーは置いてあるが、クローゼットの中で分かりづらい所に置いてある。洗面台付近に置き場所を書いておいてもらえると良い。 バスルーム据え付けのソープは3in1のみ。 シャンプー、コンディショナーを置かないのは理解するが、それならフロントで販売してくれれば良いのに、と思う。 ベッド周りに電源無いのでアラームをかけるのが不便。 朝食バフェはスタッフが色々対応してくれるのでとても良い。 サラダを多少置いてもらえると嬉しい。 1泊、２泊程度なら良いが、3泊以上だとちょっと向かないかなと感じた。

Ibis Wellington can best be described as average. The positives are the bed which was very comfortable and the shower which had very good pressure. The negatives are the bathroom in general and lack of any carpet cleaning in the corridors and the roooms. They certainly have a story to tell. In additon to this (and I understand Ibis is red) but the red doors are just tacky. Also, I would suggest staff do a walk through the corridors occasionally to collect used dishes as they were regularly seen early in the night and remaining early the following morning. The bar and restaurant is OK in typical Ibis style. Nothing inviting and of any design, just simple and very basic. The board games were a nice touch. Breakfast was OK but nothing outstanding. Overall one of the most basic Ibis Hotels I have stayed in however, for what I paid, I cannot complain too much. With a little work and not a lot of expense it could be made quite nice.
