We spent a lovely three nights at the Novotel in the beautiful Barossa Valley. The staff were all really Helpful and friendly. Our room was perfect and had a balcony overlooking the gorgeous hills and the pool. The room has a fridge and kettle and even saw a toaster. Milk in the fridge and tea and coffee. The bathroom towels were lovely and big. Breakfast was included and I do not usually like a buffet but this felt like I was at home. Lots to choose from and the set up was perfect. Fresh food and lots of it. Loved the shape of the bowls for cereal! Great location and we opted for a private tour to do tastings so we would not have to drive and they picked us up from the hotel. You need to make a reservation for dinner at the restaurant. We are out one night and ate in the hotel restaurant the other nights. The food was delicious and came out piping hot which is always a plus! Freest place to stay if you are in the valley and reasonably priced.

booked 2 rooms through Luxury Escapes. The package included a free drink per day and tasting at a winery. Checked in but only 1 room was found and I was told the other room had been cancelled. I had to find my paperwork and ipad to prove I had 2 rooms with LE. We were finally allocated 2 rooms - I had said as long as they were located near each other it didnt matter where the rooms were. We were allocated rooms next to each other. We discovered both were disability rooms with shower curtains which I hate so we changed rooms. But in the interim our internet didnt work so we fixed that with reception. On my second visit to reception the guy gave me the drinks voucher. Next day we were out and about and decided to go to the winery tasting but reception had not provided us with the vouchers. We returned to the hotel to find our key cards didnt work so another trip to reception. The next morning I woke up to read the news on my ipad but again - no internet connection. Another call to reception. We've stayed at this hotel numerous times and never experienced such bad service. Most of it can be allocated to the one person at reception who checked us in - or perhaps to the person who employed him. An honest review of the hotel is that it is definitely not 5 star, perhaps 3 & 1/2 but I am aware of that and I would continue to stay here. I know that certain parts of the rooms were upgraded a few years ago but the rooms are still dated. Dont recall the beds Ive had previously not feeling firm but in room 116 it was softish and I had trouble getting comfortable throughout the night. The hotel still has the best view of most hotels I've stayed at, beautiful fresh air, lovely staff in the eating area and i just love the coffee maker in the room.

Il Novotel Barossa Valley Resort si trova in una zona magnifica immerso nella natura e attorniato da vigneti che lo rendono particolarmente attrattivo. Le camere sono belle ampie e pulite. Noi avevamo anche un bel terrazzo con vista sui campi circostanti. Possibilità di parcheggiare davanti alla propria camera. Ristorante di alta qualità con ottimo menu. Super consigliato.

Heerlijke kamer aan eind van de vleugel op 1 hoog. Trap. Geweldig bed. Er lagen al handdoeken voor het zwembad klaar. Regendouche. Keukenblok. Wij hebben ook even gezwommen in het buitenbad. Leuk dat er ballen waren voor onze kleine. Het is overdekt met schaduwdoeken, prettig. Het restaurant was ook perfect! Mooie lobby. Helaas hebben we de gratis wine tasting niet kunnen doen.

Dit is een prima hotel ,mooie kamers en vriendelijk personeel. Gelegen in een prachtige wijnstreek waar men mooie tochten kan maken naar de omliggende stadjes die veel goede restaurants kunnen aanbieden. Dit hotel is een aanrader!
