Great welcome and check-in Pity that the sauna was not available in the morning Check-out was terrible, huge queue and the receptionist didn't seem to care

Currently staying here the building and lobby are lovely and staff greeted me warmly and were extremely kind. Sadly that’s where it stopped being 4 star in my opinion. The room I’m in is incredibly dated. My bed(s) have been made up as a double in the standards style of the region with two single covers. I’m glad they have as the single is a child size not a full size single. Beds fairly comfortable at first but not the best. Room clean. Decor very dated. Bathroom also very dated. light not working in the bathroom but reception quick to offer a repair (edit: day 3 still not repaired) But in the two rooms (standard double) i booked neither room has curtains that actually fit the window leaving a 10-12” gap. The food smells good but have to book. Breakfast good. Not convinced this is a 4 star room…. If you stay here don’t expect 4 star looks despite the so far 4 star service

Old Hotel lacking services and updates

Upon arrival, we noticed spider webs hanging at the entrance. We asked for assistance with our luggage, but there was no one available; instead, we were directed to use the trolley ourselves. The elevator was too small to fit the trolley with the bags on it. In the room, the phone didn’t work, so we had to call the hotel from our cell phones to request slippers, only to be told we had to pick them up ourselves at the reception. On the positive side, the swimming pool was well-maintained, and breakfast was standard. However, the suite felt dated, with a smart TV that wasn’t connected to the internet, making it impossible to mirror our phones and watch something.
