Near the motorway

Stopped here during the long drive north to the ferry. 24 hour staff were quick and efficient. Dogs allowed in the room so everyone happy. Breakfast was a little disappointing but at least it was quiet on a week-day in December. Only gripe is that there are no plug-in points in the parking area. Nearest one is at the Campanile down the road.

The hotel is very well located next to the highway, which turns out to be an excellent option for those who need to rest in the middle of a long trip. Some employees don't speak English very well, but nothing that with some patience and a word of French in between can't be overcome. Regarding the hotel's conditions, the rooms are a little small for the Mercure standard that we are used to finding in other countries. The breakfast is up to the standards of a Mercure hotel.

Clean tidy comfy hotel, quite rooms, good staff, excellent breakfast choice, reccommended. Great location to visit the area. Plenty of shops and restruarents near by. Poitiers just five to ten kilometres drive, access there not easy though!

Great welcome by Chloe at reception. Comfortably located near toll exit and Tesla superchargers. Plenty restaurant in vicinity. Room was OK. Breakfast quite poor, not meeting Mercure standards, neither in terms of buffet choice or attentiveness staff.

We visited the Mercure travelling back to the UK, instead of actually visiting the Futuroscope park which the hotel is built to accommodate for nearby. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The location was very convenient, being all but a roundabout and peage away from the A10, and the breakfast we had there (the restaurant was closed for dinner) was a very good buffet selection at a reasonable price. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were not the best - the shower and bathroom albeit small was also good. Generally, although the room lacked space and comfort, it was functional, new and had a nice themed design. We particularly appreciated the USB slots in the room. Finally, we were very appreciative of the hotel’s COVID-19 safe initiatives - this included one way lifts, mask-wearing, lack of tea and coffee in the room (it could still be made downstairs or on request) and your own ‘grabber’ for buffet breakfasts. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay as comfortable as possible.
