Great if you need to be in Olympic Park

The hotel is combined with Novotel and they have a shared reception. They do have a carpark which is accessible from Showground Road, as well as a driveway from Herb Elliot Ave. The lobby was quite spacious and had a bar and cafe/restaurant. I came by for a conference in Waterview so the location wasn't too bad for that. It is very close to Accor Stadium and the Sydney Showgrounds so it is an ideal location if you're going to those venues. There is even a door which goes directly out to Olympic Boulevard, where the McDonald's and the fig grove are located. The rooms were nice and fairly spacious. They were clean and the bathrooms were also tidy. The carpark wasn't bad but the elevators took a while to reach there and I did have issues getting out. Fortunately, it is connected to reception and staying there made it easy to solve. I did try to meet someone in Marrickville and it was a mission getting there on the trains. You have to transfer in Lidcombe and the platform is kinda hidden behind platform 1, so it can be confusing if you're not sure where to go. The hotel wasn't bad if you needed to be around Olympic Park but probably not the best if you wanted to explore Sydney.

Antiquated hotel falling apart and very dirty. The only reason to stay here is for location to see the concerts at the stadium or arena. The rooms and especially bathrooms are falling apart stained, dirty, got cracks everywhere. This is a hotel built 25 years ago which has not been revamped since and looks like. Only stay here for concerts and don't expect much. They also have no gym.

I travelled to IBIS Sydney Olympic Park for a few sporting events. At the time of check in, I had a lovely interaction with Guest Services, Isabel. Isabel was polite, courteous and engaging in conversation. Thank you for making me feel welcome and made my stay very pleasant. The rooms are magnificent and very practical for both business and pleasure. A work desk along with some inhouse appliances will come in handy. Plenty of activities around the precinct, whether its Accor Stadium, Engie Stadium, Qudos Arena et al. Very safe precinct and with some control and restricted vehicle access, it is quite safe to walk. Walking is very convenient with transport connections all nearby, as well as various cafes, restaurants and take-aways. In room refreshments are available, IBIS has an inhouse restaurant on the ground floor and even restaurants and cafes just outside the hotel. Depending on your room location, Accor Stadium can be seen from your view outside the window.

The best thing about this IBIS, is the location. Stayed here recently for a concert and loved how central it is to the Qudos Bank Arena. A little renovation of the bathroom wouldn’t go astray (shower is super tight) and fixtures are coming out of the wall (toilet paper was hanging by a thread literally). Comfortable bed was a big plus.

Ibis central park si trova proprio di fronte alle strutture per le olimpiadi del 2000. Ovviamente adesso la zona suona un pò vuota ma rimane molto bella ed avvengono ancora eventi. La camera è una classica ibis ma abbastanza spaziona e con il bagno normale , non incastonato come in altri ibis australiani. IL tutto si trova in un complesso che accoglie anche l'hotel pullmann , fornendo così alcuni servizi comuni che risultano comodi.
