The room didn't have furniture. I had to put my clothes on the top of the other bed. The toilet didn't have toilet brush either, which is very frustrating as it became dirty and I din't know how to clean it. But the worst thing is when I asked for an invoice, and the woman in the reception gave me a "Duplicata Note". I asked her for a true invoice, as only this way my university can reimburse me the cost of my stay in the hotel. I insisted her in giving me an invoice, and she said that this was a true invoice, the one that they always give to the customers. I asked her to sign it, but she didn't want to sign it. She said: why I have to sign? This is what we always give to the customers! A few days later, I asked a man on the reception for an invoice with my address corrected, and he gave me a document in which the word "Facture" was clearly indicated. My question is: why they gave me at the beginning a "Duplicata note", and then they gave me a "Factura"? If "Duplicata note" were a true invoice, why to use two different words for the same thing: "Duplicata note" and "Factura"? What is the difference between "Duplicata note" and "factura"? Please, if a customer askes for a true invoice, give him/her a "factura", and don't waste our time with lies. You should know that many customers (I am one of them) choose your hotel as we have problems in other hotels to get a real invoice. If you put problems with invoices, we won't go again to your hotel.

The Ibis Budget shares a building with an Ibis Hotel. It is the same reception staff who deal with both hotels. They are very good and explained everything well. The only negative thing about the hotel was the breakfast room and breakfast. The room was tiny and very limited food compared to the Ibis Budget I stayed in Nice. Also the aircon could not be switched off and no temperature settings. As the weather was very hot outside, we put up with the cold conditions. The Hotel is by line 4 on the Tram system, which seems to go around Montpellier and makes it easy to reach.
