We stayed one night at this hotel - It’s a little far from some of the main attractions in Paris, but not a problem at all if you’re familiar with the Metro. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the room had some basic amenities. The only issue we had was the air conditioning, which stopped working in the middle of the night. It was stifling hot, but the front desk provided us with a fan to put in front of the window.

Not a Mercure quality hotel ... avoid this one, at least for your health

We chose this hotel for our one-night stay in Paris primarily because of its convenient location near the train station and the fact that it's a Mercure-branded property. While the location lived up to expectations, unfortunately, the hotel did not meet the Mercure standards. Here are the reasons for my disappointment: 1. After a 15-hour flight, we arrived slightly early at 11:30 AM. Usually, quality hotels allow early check-in if rooms are available, or they simply inform you if none are ready. However, the receptionist initially told us there were no rooms available for early check-in. When we asked about the earliest possible check-in due to our long journey, we were surprised to be told that we could check in early if we paid an additional €50. This kind of behavior is more typical of smaller hotels, not what you'd expect from Mercure. Still, since we were exhausted, we accepted the offer. 2. The breakfast experience was also disappointing. The fruit had clearly been cut the day before and tasted stale. I even ended up with an upset stomach later that day, likely from the fruit. This raised concerns about the overall hygiene of the food, and I would caution others to avoid booking here for their health. 3. The hotel does not provide irons in the rooms. Instead, guests are required to queue up in a communal ironing room. This is not what I would expect from a hotel charging premium rates under the Mercure brand. Fortunately, we only stayed for one night, but I can imagine encountering more issues had we stayed longer.

We offer, indeed, the possibility of an early-check-in for a supplement of 50€ is the room availability allows it. 2.Regarding your breakfast, we are surprised by your comment. We do take this matter very seriously as the hygiene of our products is a matter very important. I shared your review to our Restaurant Manager. Did you inform our team in direct ? We have no proof your stomach problems were linked to our breakfast products. You probably have eaten other things during your stay outside of our establihsment. 3. Regarding the irons, indeed our hotel provide an ironing room which is always open. You can also ask our reception to bring you one iron in your room. The hotel is right next door to the station, literally taking a few seconds to get to (my room even looked right into the station hall and I could read the departure board!). Very quiet hotel and a nice free breakfast. Room very comfortable as well. The hotel was more than happy to store luggage on checkout. I would advise caution though walking around the area late at night. It is also very convenient for anyone arriving/departing by bus from Bercy Coach station.

Just beside Gare de Lyon made it strategcly located. What added to the comfortable stay was - Great reception with quick check-in process. - The fact that at night the entry of the hotel required access card was one of the features was my personal favorite. - The hotel staff was courtous and helpul. - Room is clean and comfortable

A pleasant hotel, near the station. The check in was quick. I wasn’t keen on the check out being completed by a staff member on a mobile device standing in the lobby.The room was spacious and comfortable. A good breakfast offering hot and cold buffet.
