The hotel is near to Frankfurt airport with a shuttle service. There is also supermarket just across the street is you need to get some groceries. The frontdesk staff are friendly and professional, as compared to the time I stayed in November last year. It's a totally different team as far as I can see. The only down side is check-in process is taking quite long. But they are doing a good job.

Will try another hotel as rooms were tiny

I have never seen such small rooms in a hotel before. You would expect that being a main airport hotel the rooms would be bigger. Breakfast could have been more varied. Looked like an overflow hotel every time someone missed there flight ie most evenings there was a queue of people checking in. Bar service was good and the staff were friendly. Strangely room card had to be reset every time as we were denied access many times. Staff said it was down to room card being near phone but that was never the case. No iron in the room though could be requested at reception. Down side was no outside area to sit in as many smokers occupied it.

Had to book late room due to delayed (dawdling) flight with Discover Airlines. Checkin struggled to find reservation, despite showing confirmation number. Took nearly 20 minutes to checkin, room was small, stuffy, and AC did not work. Hotel fleeces guests with €6 “free” airport shuttle. I would only recommend for the price.

I was so tired after a long flight that I was looking for nothing but jumping into bed so I appreciated easy shuttle from the airport, quick check in, friendly staff and comfortable bed. In the morning I had the same experience like in the evening, perfect and efficient service. Rich breakfast with a big choice was more than I expected. I can recommend and will for sure come back by any layover in Frankfurt.

I was stuck in Frankfurt overnight as my I missed my connecting flight due to poor weather conditions. Lufthansa cover hotel/meal expenses up to a ceiling and I need to provide an invoice of expenses. I stayed in Ibis Frankfurt Airport hotel but was told when I payed that their "system was down" and they could not not give me an invoice that day. This was on 4/12/23. I have been calling regularly since, to ask for one. Either nobody answers the phone, or the receptionist who sometimes answers speaks very little English, just enough to say that the system is still down and she cannot help. Really?? I cannot claim reimbursement from Lufthansa until I have an invoice. Today is the 18/12! seriously??
