Bonjour Mr. D., ⠀ We are very sorry that the temperature in your room was not properly controlled during the night. If the thermostat was set to 68°F and the room continued to feel warm, this should have been investigated and corrected, and we regret the impact this had on your comfort. ⠀ We are equally concerned that you remained on hold for approximately 15 minutes when trying to reach the Front Desk or Hotel Services. We completely understand how frustrating and confusing that must have been, particularly when you then came downstairs and saw several team members at the desk. You should not have had to leave your room simply to get assistance. ⠀ Your feedback regarding both the thermostat and the response time has been shared with our Engineering and Front Office teams for follow-up. The room got hot at night despite the thermostat being on 68. I don’t even prefer the room to be on 68, but clearly the thermostat wasn’t reading properly nor controlling the room temp. I also attempted to call down to the front desk or for “hotel services” on the room phone and was on hold for 15 min so I ultimately decided I’ll just go downstairs and there were 4 ppl manning the desk so I was quite confused why I was on hold for that long.

Carpet is dirty, door dragged across it, shower was moldy, mildewy, bathroom floor seemed dirty, room isnt well lit/ dark. It was quiet which was good. Restaurant was dark, noisy and not comfortable.

Poor - except at the restaurant where the bartender was quite pleasant and helpful

Bonjour Ms. D., ⠀ We are very sorry that your stay fell so far below expectations, particularly with the condition and presentation of the rooms you were assigned. ⠀ Having to request a room move because of a moisture odor from the ventilation should not have been necessary, and we regret that Room 2323 still left you disappointed. We understand your frustration that the room felt darker and smaller than what you had expected from the images viewed online, particularly without the full-length window and chaise lounge you anticipated. ⠀ We are equally concerned by your comments regarding the service at Reception. Your feedback that our team was reactive rather than proactive is important, especially as an ALL Silver member. Once the initial room concern was raised, there should have been clearer ownership, stronger follow-through, and greater attention to finding an accommodation that better addressed your concerns. ⠀ We have shared your comments regarding both the room assignment and the Front Desk experience with the appropriate teams for review. Was allocated a room with a damaged bath tub (pain peeling, many marks). I raised it soon after check in and was told someone would come fix it when I was out. It wasn’t fixed and I wasn’t moved even though there were other rooms available. When I showed the pictures to the front desk attendant who checked me out he said he’d take the room out of service. (No help to me but does resolve it for future guests). Had to fight for my late check out even though it usually comes with Accor gold, they initially wanted to charge me. Was also given no info about the daily amenity fee and credits so I didn’t spend any of the credits. Still, the hotel is nice, the location is handy and central and it has a decent gym.

The plugs in my room at the desk were not working and never fixed. restaurant was not very good. bathtub had some peeling issues, which for a 1,000 a night seemed a bit run down. But the concierge (Runrun) was fabulous and the staff at the front desk was also nice.

Rooms are small and dark (small windows that don’t open). Difficult to get breakfast in the morning and overall feel of the place is lacking for the price point.

We booked the hotel for two nights to host an important meeting. My sleep was interrupted by returning half of my laundry at 10pm. The other half was there already. There is no option to get laundry returned before 8pm, aside from giving it by 6pm the night before. In a city like NYC it's mad that there is no better option. For the meeting space booking, this did not go well. It started pre-arrival with a crazy statement that we can only book coffee for a minimum of 15 people. There were 4 of us. On site, I was told that I couldn't take my own coffee in to the meeting room. Ordering a coffee in the room was fine, but would include a $400 charge to begin with. I later was told that there are union rules but honestly that's not my issue... it's your job to make this work for the guest. Communication of these union rules ahead of time could have lessened the damage. If told at the time of booking then we would have factored the additional cost in to the overall value proposition. You missed that opportunity however. A member of housekeeping left a few bits of cleaning product inside my room one day. On the plus side, service staff at breakfast were lovely.

hotel had accidentally booked my 1 room reservation as two, but promptly issued a credit for the error. No runaround. Front desk reception staff seemed also very responsive to others that were in line at the same time (a missing package, change in reservation).
