Suitable for short stays with great location

We stayed 5 nights and probably should have stayed in a hotel with bigger beds. Location was excellent, in house service from reception was great, restaurant meals were good however the only 2 things that let us down were: 1-small number of hotel parks were 1st in and then as many as half the parks were taken by nearby workers and people using the casino. Really disappointing watching people with laptop bags etc hop into cars and leave at 5 o'clock 2-beds are only doubles so as 2 adults and a teenager this meant our superior double room really wasn't large enough. We should have booked interconnecting rooms if they had been available or gone to the Ibis. However the staff and the service made up for it and we were very well treated.

We do offer a car parking valet service and, as you rightly say, there are some free car parks alongside the river adjacent to the hotel. These are free, based on first come first served and therefore can be used by anyone so we cannot dictate who and when they are used. We apologise if this was an inconvenience to you Janice, we would be more than happy to pre-book you a valet spot if you reach out to us directly next time. Regarding the comments relating to your room, I see that your reservation was for a Superior Twin but we do also have Deluxe Twins which are more spacious, however they do feature the same bed configuration of 2 x double beds. I am in agreement with you in that with teenagers you perhaps would be better in booking 2 x inter-connecting rooms and again, we would be more than happy to do this for you next time. Kia ora Tina, Great to have you stay with us again- thank you for your loyalty. I'm pleased that all went well with your stay but apologise for the invoice inaccuracies. I note that you're an Accor Plus Gold member, and I am assuming that the discounts that you are referring to are you dining discounts which ought to be applied at source - by the restaurant and I'm sorry that this didn't happen. That would explain why the Receptionist staff then perhaps expect that this has already been actioned. This is a good learning point for us Tina and I thank you for bringing this to our attention.
