The hotel is pleasant enough, but the cleaning standards could be improved. I found a glass in my drawer with a lipstick stain on it, which certainly wasn’t mine as I hadn’t used the glass. I left it out, hoping it would be taken away, cleaned, and replaced, but unfortunately the same glass was put back in the drawer the next day with the stain still on it. There was also dark hair (not mine) on one of my “fresh” towels. On the positive side, the room was spacious and the valet parking service was excellent. However, the welcome gift – a few jet plane lollies in a ramekin – felt quite odd and not very welcoming at all. I travel with Accor frequently, and this was by far the most disappointing welcome "gift" I’ve received.

As always staff were excellent, room was well maintained and clean. My only frustration was the valet parking, at forty-two dollars a night the price is getting up there, and that one of the benefits is your car will be waiting for you anytime you want as long as you give notice of what time you would like it, that would be great if anyone in the lobby or the concierge answered the phones, I understand it is busy at 10.30am but we tried for over 30 minutes to get through on the phone and eventually gave up and had to wait in the lobby while our car was bought up.

I've stayed at the Novotel a number of times. Though very well located and a perfectly nice hotel, the best thing about it are the staff, who are some of the friendliest and most welcoming hotel staff I've encountered anywear in the world.
