Kia ora Peter, Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m glad to hear you had a comfortable stay. I totally understand how inconvenient it can be to not have a proper place to change, especially when you're on the go. Having checked your reservation, I can see that you checked in at 12.30 midday, and normal check-in is 2.00pm - which constitutes an early check-in. I'm not sure if you needed access to your room earlier than that, but I can not see any communication along those lines. As a Gold member, one of your complimentary benefits is either an early check-in, or a late check-out - subject to availability, and we really try our best to accommodate this wherever we can. I am sorry if this wasn't possible for you on the day of check-in Peter - please just drop us a line next time and we will try to make it happen. The reason the restaurant was unable to charge to your room was the fact that an extra booking was made, and no credit card had been taken to guarantee charge backs. I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused Peter, we ought to have spotted that when the extra night was booked. As for the room key issue, I appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to our team. We strive to make every stay seamless, and your insights help us improve. We hope to welcome you back soon for another enjoyable visit!
