I’m currently staying at this hotel for four nights and have been very disappointed with the service. On my second day, I accidentally broke my make-up foundation bottle but left it by the sink as I planned to buy a container and still use it. When I came back in the evening, housekeeping had thrown it away without my permission. I contacted Mercure and was told a manager would deal with it the next morning, but when I went to reception, I was informed the manager wasn’t in. This added even more frustration as no one has taken responsibility or offered a solution. It’s unacceptable to throw away a guest’s personal item, especially something expensive. I’m extremely disappointed and would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Arrived on Friday 19th May 2023. The room was very good the bar was also good. The restaurant was another matter, it was probably because a wedding was going on, but the service was very, very slow and the food was just about passable.

We were very pleased with how quiet this hotel is, as well as the very large bedroom we had for us four. The staff is very kind and pleasant. We were thankful for the underground parking. The breakfast was very varied with very good freshly pressed orange juice! We definitely recommend this hotel.

The receptionists were all really kind and friendly. They tried to do their best to make the stay comfortable. The room was really nice and clean. Would be greater if they had slippers and bathrobes. If you’re travelling by car, this hotel would be your first choice. If not, you have to walk at least 10 minutes from the nearest public transport station. There is a very good German restaurant next to the hotel which I would also recommend if you are too lazy to go into the city centre.

Covid stopped us getting here two years ago but I'm glad we finally made it. Very friendly and professional staff, nothing was too much trouble, excellent rooms, spacious and well ventilated and a first class breakfast with a vast choice. It's away from the main roads so noise was minimal and about 10mins walk from the S-Bahn station meaning central Hannover is within easy reach. Large car park too if that's the way you travel.
