The front desk made this hotel, they went over and above, I wish I remembered their names, the man who checked us in was very friendly, I really loved the nice greetings. Our suitcases were not with us and he found European convertor plugs for us so we can charge our phones, a big thank you The room was spacious lots of shelves for your stuff, the room was very clean, bathroom was spacious too We had a view of the sea which was nice, my only complaint of the room was the air quality, you could not open the window either, so I had a hard time breathing at night Breakfast was okay, only got it twice, the coffee was excellent The lobby was nicely decorated for Christmas, there are vending machines in the lobby if you need snacks or coffee, also they had items you can heat in the microwave The area was about a 40 minute walk to the old town, we are avid walkers and did not mind the walk to and from the hotel, also there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel, great for getting to and from the airport, there is also a laundromat about 2 minutes away, plenty of stores close by, a pizza shop, bakery, convenience stores. I would stay here again

I landed here after my flight from Nice was canceled without notice and got almost NO help from the airline. After being unable to find a hotel in this area that I was told had room, saw this Ibis. Was very lucky to find this place and got the last room on a Friday night! The room was comfortable, amazingly quiet for this location, and even had a partial view of the Med. Not to mention spotlessly clean and a comfortable bed. All that was great, but the best of this hotel was the front desk manager on duty, I believe her name was Elodie. I needed a train ticket to go to Marseille to catch another flight the following day, and had NO idea how to navigate the SNCF website to buy a ticket. She took care of everything, got the ticket by email no problem and she even printed it out. Likely would not have received this kind of personal service and help at hotels that cost much more. I needed a taxi the next morning for the train station and the staff on duty took care of that as well. I don't usually stay at Ibis hotels, but after this great experience, I may well come back here. The hotel business is about PEOPLE and at least here they haven't forgotten that!

We travelled to Nice as a family of 4 for a short break. Even before arriving the Reception staff were really helpful over email with my questions and gave a really warm welcome on check in. The room is basic but spotlessly clean, beds comfy enough, air con, TV, large shower and free WiFi. Our family room had a double, double sofa and single bed with a view of the sea (5th floor). You can hire an iron and hairdryer at Reception for free. We did find the room a bit stuffy and the corridors are an interesting colour and more run down but overall very happy with what we paid! Decent curtains and no noise despite being on the street - we all slept well. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Didn't eat at the hotel, we grabbed breakfast at the amazing bakery across the road and were then out exploring all day and night. There is also a convenience store next door for water, snacks etc. Location was perfect for us, area felt safe and just a few stops from the Airport and then into town on the T2 tram (Lenval Hopital), honestly couldn't believe how easy and convenient it all was. Beach and promenade across the road. If you only need a place to sleep this is the hotel for you.

Connection between airport and hotel, with the tram line L2 you are in no time at the hotel! The beach is 100 meters away. On the promenade you can walk nicely. Regardless or whether this is a budget hotel or not, there are some basic items that can not be missed in a hotel. items as a wardrobe, a safety and windows to the outside must be able to open. Wet clothes stay wet for a long time because the air circulation in the room is poor. Air conditioning works poorly and it is extremely hot at night.

It was ok. Clean, nice and friendly staff until today... Terrible cleaning of the room. I think they reused old sheets, didn't give us the three towels we need. Too late to complain now but unfortunately I havevto do it tomorrow... Hope this not happen again tomorrow.... I have used Ibis a lot of times, first time this happens
