Honestly terrible

Besides checking in everything else was sub standard for Novotel, bins left unplaced in bathroom, body wash and shampoo facing the wrong way in the racks so you couldn’t tell what product to use. Some effort required to turn them around as they were firmly in place. Then the smell. First floor above the restaurants below the smell of cooking grease and oils soaked in the room until the early hours of the night. It got so bad I had an asthma attack something that I haven’t experienced in years. When I complained I was told the hotel was full and they couldn’t move me. I was instructed they had put in extractors but these were not working as well as they’d hoped.

Regarding the housekeeping concerns you raised, we have reviewed the photos provided and noted that what we observed differed from how the issue was described. However, we genuinely value your input, and your feedback will certainly assist our team in strengthening our room presentation standards and improving attention to detail. With regard to the cooking odours, I sincerely apologise for the discomfort and distress caused. In situations where the hotel is operating at full occupancy, a room move may not always be possible despite our best efforts. In such circumstances, our team implements corrective actions such as positioning additional extractors to help minimise and remove odours as quickly as possible. I understand this did not resolve the issue to your satisfaction during your stay, and I am sorry for that. Please know that we always encourage guests to inform us immediately if something is not right so we can take prompt action to assist—whether through a room move when available or alternative solutions to ensure your comfort. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are using it to review and improve our procedures across both housekeeping and engineering teams. I was given the worst view room 223. Looking into the industrial machine area of the hotel Barely any sky just the equipment area. May as well have put me in the basement. I asked for an another room and was given 612 with a nice view. Why not give me that room first? Exactly the same size room and decor. I’d hate to think it was because i was solo female and the reception may have thought he could get away with it. Shame on you Novotel. Never again.

Hotel was good but it was extremely disappointing to find out we had to pay $32 to park overnight. I can see in previous posts you claim this is because you’re close to the glen shopping centre. I don’t believe this is a justifiable response. Since the accomodation is not in the CBD most people who stay will require a carpark and therefore should be factored into your rates.

Super amazing as always, but still surprise with new features.

One of the best 4 star hotels I have ever stayed at. Kavita the Customer relations manager is super helpful. This stay was longer than usual. She purchased a drier rack for me in her own time. I love the way they have pillow menu. Indian food in restaurant is the best I have ever had, except for an Indian restaurant near the Novotel in Edinburgh. Breakfast is amazing. Great food and great variety. Staff are super kind, and remember my given name. Parking is super convenient under the hotel too. Train station and large shopping area are 10 minutes casual walk away. Reception is always happy to help. Overall it is like you feel when visiting a close relative who really welcomes your visit.

Yet another incredible Accor Plus stay. Just when you think things can’t get any better the Novotel Glen Waverley elevate the Accor guest experience to the next level. I’m talking dedicated platinum car space, amazingly quiet rooms, exceptional staff including the e most endearing Udari in reception. An absolute must is to indulge in a culinary experience for breakfast and dinner in the modern and inspiring cutting edge Meze restaurant. A plethora of middle eastern, bistro favourites and the signature Indian dishes will both impress and leave you wanting more. The Indian curries and chicken bryani as authentic Indian as the Taj Mahal, a Maharaja or indeed a Rajshi Byanjan (Royal Hindi Banquet). The hosts during dinner are welcoming and professional with an eye to attention. Shout out to Mr Suranga, Akesh and Chethiya. We also love the wine buffet option with our main meal allowing all you can drink wine for two hours during dinner….WOW!!! A must stay if you need quality, comfort and professional accommodation in the East and an elevated experience for all Accor Plus members. Close to shopping and entertainment options adjacent. Can’t wait to return soon, thank you team!
