Stayed for one night and would have happily stayed for longer. An easy 3 minute walk from Gare de L’Est train station and a ten minute walk to Gare de Nord. Reception staff were exceptional and so willing to check us in very early in the day as our train from Strasbourg arrived into Paris around 9:30 am. We only had about a half hour wait before being checked in. As our booked room was not available,we were offered a room on the 7th floor which was quite large and plenty of space for two adults and two children. The only way to access this floor is by a key used in the lift by the staff. We were very grateful for this room. More so when we stepped out onto the deck and had uninterrupted views of the Eiffel Tower! Only the occupants of the two rooms on this floor have this opportunity to view during the day and night. Such a special treat for Paris. The room came with a kettle and some mugs and whilst there was no fridge, being winter the ability to open the window/doors meant things stayed cool outside. The windows /door also have electronic block out blinds. Easy access from this hotel to the metro and plenty of food shops and little markets around the hotel. Would definitely stay here again

Unfriendly personnel by check in and poor kindness by breakfast. Not possible to park you car when you are higher than 1,95 meter

Hello Dear customer, I regret your stay was not up to your expectations. We don't own any parking, and the indoor parking lot available walking distance has a maximum height of 1.95m. You can park outside though, there is no maximum high. I will transfer your comments to the front desk manager and the breakfast manager to make you feel more welcome next time, Best regards

We booked a Room at this Hotel many Month in advance via Accorhotels App and checked in online 24 hours before arrival. On arrival, we had been forced, to Go to a IBIS Styles Hotel a few Blocks away, without any Reason..The comment was: "You have been rebooked to another Hotel, Good Bye". Thanks. Next Day (I guess, someone in Charge!) mailed us, we can Go to a Mercure Hotel, a few Blocks away, what we did, because the Rooms at IBIS Styles Hotel, Gare Est, are very small... Anyway.. this treating of a Silver Member was definatly bad... You better off, to book your Hotels via Booking or so...

The hotel is great for short term. It is just across the street from the train station/metro which we used almost every day. There's' a little corner shop across the street where we would get our water and snacks. There are several restaurants close by as well. Even some American fast food establishments. If you walk the opposite way, then you will hit La Marais area. I jogged the area and found that the hotel is actually close to the Seine if you don't mind walking/sightseeing which is what we did. There is a restaurant on the corner where we would get our daily espresso and croissant. The staff at Ibis were great. They were always available to help me out with any questions. My French was limited but with their English proficiency and my determination to practice my French they were very patient. Merci beaucoup!

Great location, 2 mins from the metro, 10 min walk from Gare du Nord, 1 stop on the metro. Good selection of cafes & restaurants close by. Rooms small but clean & comfortable. Good selection for breakfast. Lovely friendly, helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again.
