Apart from the paint work in the room (black with some gold lines) and a small velvet covered chair in the corner there was nothing “luxury” I found with this hotel. The bathroom was very small and the door didn’t close all the way. There was a smart TV but only a few channels, no satellite, no Netflix no good things to watch. The complementary coffee was not topped up our entire stay. The shower wash was not filled , ran out on the first day and not filled the entire stay so clearly was not checked . The “chocolate hour” was nothing to write home about, it was a std chocolate fountain with some basic ingredients and the chocolates were not nice. Restaurant and bar is tiny. Asked for a room with a view and got a room right above the entrance looking directly into a set of townhouses. The air conditioner was extremely loud, we turned it off while we were in there. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Good black out curtains. They have a VIP elevator at the back of the building(city side) which you can use if going to town and you don’t have to go up the steep hill. Close to town. We were relocated to this hotel from our water front booking as they had to cancel. Requested view of city due to the change in our view and got booked in a room above the front entrance looking into town houses. Gave my card details on the phone and when I arrived no one had saved them. I expected so much more from this hotel

Staff are amazing, super comfy bed, quiet and dark. Plus if you are lucky to be there from 4-5pm it's chocolate hour!

The staff, in particular John made my stay memorable, but all were amazing! The view of the city is spectacular. Easy walk into town and superb coffee at the restaurant every morning. The rooms are not big, but super comfy bed and block out blinds. It was very quiet, dark and dreamy.

Ein ruhiges und trotzdem zentrales Hotel. Insgesamt sehr angenehm, nur das Frühstück war miserabel: lediglich die Basics an Rührei, Schinken, Pilze, Bohnen, Müsli, harte Melonen, kleine, harte Käsestückchen und wenig Wurst. Das war’s. Omelette konnte man dazu bestellen, aber lediglich mit Käse, Zwiebel und Tomaten kosten extra. Etliche der Servicekräfte waren arrogant, es wurde kaum abgeräumt Und auch nicht richtig nachgelegt. Das Frühstück entspricht von daher in keinster Weise einem, Fünf Sterne Standard, da haben wir in drei Sterne Hotel schon wesentlich vielfältiger gefrühstückt. Der Manager des Restaurants telefonierte und trank währenddessen aus der Flasche. also in keinster Weise zu empfehlen.

auf unserer rundreise in new zealand, und aufenthalt in wellington, waren vir in diesem tollen hotel, mit allem comfort den man sich wünschen kann. durch die lage des hotels(liegt etwas oberhalb wellington) hat man eine tolle ausicht auf die stadt, es liegt auch gut zentral, und gute anschlüsse an div. sehenswürdigkeiten, und guter anschluss an flughafen. die zimmer und bad, sind geschmackvoll gestaltet, dass frühstück sehr reichhaltig und gut, wir waren auch an einem abend , im dazugehörigen restaurant, dass bestellte essen und wein lecker, und der service top. generell sehr freundliches personal.
