The view from the pool is unrivaled. The service is quick, friendly, and efficient. Porters are friendly and easy to talk to. The coconut drink is especially great - cold, sweet, with great presentation. Ask for Hugo, he’ll take care of you.

Great hotel with a lovely terrace (the main asset of the hotel) where you have nice live music in the evening. Staff also lovely esp. Hugo! Only downside was our our room to the streets. The windows are not that sound proof. Definitely one of the top hotels in rio.

My wife and I came to rio for a quick trip before a wedding in Sao Paulo and we loved the Fairmont! We liked our room, the location, and the hotel really did their best to make sure we had a great stay. Staff was exceptional; Hugo at the pool and Orlando at the beach club gave us great service. Will be back!

Excellent hotel, incredibly comfortable beds, huge breakfast. Two pools - one for the morning, one for the afternoon, with comfortable sun beds and attentive staff. Hugo at the pool particularly deserves a shout out for being helpful and friendly.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Which sits on copacabana beach. The views are absolutely breathtaking from the rooms and the pool. Staff are so helpful. Practically Hugo from the pool. He was very kind and accommodating to us. Made us feel like home 😄
