Great facility, food and staff. Best experience I've had at a large hotel in 40 years. A very well appointed hotel in a great location in a great city, but the helpful and friendly staff set this apart from the competition. Would happily recommend the Fairmont and we are looking forward to a return visit.

The hotel is landmark in Rio by itself. the great design from the 60-70s with spacious rooms and superb facilities. I was attended by the Manager Jose, who along with his amazing and friendly staff, made my short stay memorable and enjoyable.

Best position between Copacabana and Ipanema, very professional service, I experienced Fairmont Gold which is value for money in terms of upgraded accommodation (last floor and full view on Copacabana) and dedicated lounge for breakfast and concierge services

Our experience I the fairmonte was amazing from start to finish, Rafael the front of house butler was amazing. As soon as we arrived he made us feel welcome and a million dollars. This experience is worth every penny and this guy has the maturity & experience to know how to treat guests of all types and. Absolute gentleman and i would highly recommend him in any environment.

honestly, when I arrived, i had a bad experience around the room i Booked, which was different on what I expected ! But the Hotel, after coming back to them several times, really took my feedback in consideration and changed us on a great room ! The food is great / the view is crazy and the pool is small but really quiet ! the hotel is really clean, the room are great and the fitness is amazing ! all the staff is really GREAT Special mention to : Patherson that really helped us, he is great at the reception ! Alfredo and his team ( Wesley) that gave you a great smiles every day Pedro at the bar pool that makes you feel at Home and last but not least, Lucas on lost items that helps us when we lost our Phone and make everything to send it back to us in Europe ! Thanks Fairmont team
