HARDY'S VERANDAH RESTAURANT

Built in 1852 for Arthur Hardy, the house was his summer residence, but it also became a venue for the most lavish parties. Today, the space has been transformed into SA's top restaurants true to the house's tradition of refinement, elegance and opulence.

Simply the best experience! Culinary delights, the warmth of home, and the extravagance of an 'old world' retreat. Thank you to the staff for a brilliant Christmas! Truffles and biscuits were a delight. Christmas lunch was superb... in keeping with all of the dining highlights! The Picadilly Suite was beautifully appointed. My swimming experience was warm and relaxed. Thank you. I will return in a heartbeat! 💜

A fantastic, luxurious and comforting escape; stunning surrounds and experience all over. Bed was magnificently comfortable, room temp just right. Food and service at dinner were all perfect, and the location and views for our family birthday were all memorable and ideal. Will be back for sure.

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured that our experience was nothing short of outstanding. The attention to detail and the professionalism of the team were immediately evident. The staff were not only friendly but also knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations and assisting with any questions I had about the menu and the facilities. Their warmth and attentiveness truly elevated my experience. The free history tour hosted by the customer relations manager is a plus and highly recommended. Thank you once again to everyone at Lofty House. We will certainly be recommending your venue to friends and family, and we look forward to returning soon.

Mount lofty house is our favourite hotel to stay at in SA. The grounds and property are stunning as are the hospitable staff who look after you whilst you are there. This is our 5th time staying on the property. Highly recommend that you book an appointment in at the day spa and if you can splash out you need to stay at Sequoia - there is no other level of accommodation experience like this in SA.

We had a short stay just 2 nights, recommend longer. From check in to check out the Staff were amazing, they all appear to enjoy their work. The estate is beautiful and has so much for you to do hiking trails, swimming pool, garden, reading, eating, drinking, history tour, or relaxing at the Day Spa. They have some great exclusive tours around the area as well.
