먼저 결제 비용에 문제가 있었습니다. 1000포인트를 사용했지만, 금액이 제대로 차감되지 않고 이전 금액으로 계산되었습니다. 이러한 상황을 어느 정도 이해할 수 있습니다. 저는 이 문제를 발견하고 리셉션에 알렸습니다. 코카서스 인종의 머리숱이 적은 40대 정도의 직원이 응대했습니다. 재결제를 요청했지만 들어주지 않았습니다. 대신 호텔 내 식당에서 사용할 수 있는 포인트로 지불하자고 했고, "얼마 되지 않으니" 그렇게 하라는 강요를 받았습니다. 제 요금에 조식이 포함되어 있었고, 재결제하고 싶다고 했지만 돈을 돌려받을 수 없다는 이유로 포인트로 이용하라는 강요를 받았습니다. 저는 계속 불만을 표현했지만, 강인한 태도에 항복했습니다. 큰 금액은 아니지만, 그런 표현을 쓰는 이유를 이해할 수 없었습니다. 다음 날에 이메일을 통해 부분 취소를 해줄 것이라고 했고, 다시 리셉션에 방문했습니다. 리산드라 직원에게 찾아가서 결제된 카드로 포인트 부분을 취소해달라고 했습니다. 처음부터 왜 이런 방식으로 처리하지 않았는지 의문스러웠습니다. 7월 10일 오후 8시쯤 포크를 빌릴 수 있는지 문의하기 위해 다시 리셉션에 방문했습니다. 처음 응대한 코카서스 인종의 머리숱이 적은 40대 정도의 직원이 나를 다시 만났습니다. 포크를 빌릴 수 있는지 물었지만, 이해하지 못하는 듯한 표정을 지었습니다. 여러 번 물어도 계속하여 이해하지 못하는 척을 했습니다. 하지만 저는 그 직원이 이해하지 못했다기보다는 알지 않으려고 한다고 생각했습니다. 결국 저는 휴대전화로 포크를 검색하여 사진을 보여야 했습니다. 그 직원은 다소 무례한 어조로 식당으로 가보라고 했습니다. 저는 노보텔 브랜드에서 동양인의 발음을 못 알아듣는 체하는 인종 차별을 경험하게 되어 정말 놀랐습니다. 이러한 상황에 대한 조치가 필요하고, 그 직원에 대한 처분에 대해 알고 싶습니다.

Hotel is in a great spot..but there are a few issues! Service charge is not on all the menus and certainly is not discretionary! Food is average and not worth the price, extremely small portions: kids size portions for adults. The lasagne (which appears not to be homemade) is tiny and comes with a small piece of dried garlic bread. The room is adequate but the carpet is stained and filthy. Under the sofa bed was filthy and not cleaned.

Prior to this we had stayed in Novotel Blackfrier and that was a far better experience. The location of this hotel is good as the bus connectivity is good. The underground is about 10-13 min walk so best to take buses. The hotel does not provide drinking water or an option to refill water bottles so you will need to buy water. Housekeeping is average ..our room was not cleaned properly and the last day we found ice cream tub under the bed! Thank God we were getting out anyway. The restaurant food is good .... breakfast is average. We had an issue with billing and Anna was very helpful is solving the problem. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The hotel needs to look at making it competitive against other brands who do more for guests.

Poor start but maybe hopeful

A bit of a poor start that had my wife and I wondering what sort of a place we had walked into. A receptionist served us who spoke so very soft and quiet that we struggled to hear what she was saying. No front hall porters to help us with taking our heavy luggage to our 5th floor room. And an important letter that was posted to me to collect at this hotel on my arrival that the receptionist told me cannot be found. Having just arrived I do hope the service here improves

Lovely hotel, clean modern, great rooms with everything you need very comfy beds. Restaurant food was excellent although the service could have been better (more alert to empty glasses) but overall a good stay. There are no tube stations that near within 5 mins walk therefore be aware of the need for taxis.
