The room was beautiful, old-fashioned but inconspicuously updated. Miriam was extremely helpful and hospitable. And the chef at 1902 makes the absolute best mushroom soup I have ever had, in any country.

As a Platinum ALL, we were upgraded to the Opera Suite with Nile view. Just splendid! The staff is super nice and the hotel one of those very special places. Truly amazing place! They could however improve on their F&B offering with an overall of their menu and improve the choice of local cuisine using more local ingredients.

Beautiful Place to Stay in Aswan

Unfortunately, our trip only allowed us the opportunity to spend 1 night at the Cataract. It is a beautiful place overlooking the Nile with excellent service and dining. We were welcomed by Marvel with a welcome drink and she walked us to our room. The room was fantastic with a gorgeous view overlooking the Nile. We enjoyed a tasteful dinner on the Terrace the first night followed by breakfast and lunch the next day. Excellent service from a very friendly staff.

Charming and sophisticate

An authentic travel through time. We stayed at the Palace. We could breath charme in every detail. But what made our stay a wonderful one was the staff. Everybody prepared, caring and nice. We were honored with a personal Butler service. Mr Ahmed, our Butler, made us feel at home and guided through the secrets of the hotel, including famous suites. We could almost see Poirot walking around the gardens and the Terrace:)
