Nice Hotel but not perfect

My wife and I stayed here as we were in Aussie to watch the N.Z Rugby team play Samoa and it was an added bonus the Kiwi team were staying at the same Hotel ! The check in was very friendly and the room very nice and very comfortable bed and nice shower but when paying a lot for a junior suite to have bathroom amenities was a bit disappointing. The views were great but the music was way too loud outside on a Saturday night, hence can't give a 5 star review. The service at Breakfast was great too especially a lady called Lilly , such a nice helpful lady. The food was nice but a bid hard at my age walking up and down steps carrying my plate when I am not the most mobile.

A great ‘coastal holiday’ but in Sydney!

Staff were wonderful, particularly check in staff (Sir?) sorry didn’t get his name-but he was fabulous and showed us to our room and looked after us during our 4 night staff. Staff on breakfast remember you and again, look after you. They are friendly and obliging. Facilities are great We had an upgrade for our anniversary and a lovely surprise in room-we were very surprised and happy! Only disappointment was the noise from engagement party on the Sat night, it was BAD, loud music till 11:30-12. (& it was appalling around 10:20pm). There are no personal amenities in rooms (a woman doesn’t want to ask for a sanitary bag (if even they are supplied). There were no signs to request ‘please make up my room’ or ‘do not disturb’. Buffet breaky-have to go all around various locations to get food, not ideal for people with limited mobility, even people in general as there are steps up/down and all around & most of us aren’t as skilled as the wait staff. Charge for barista coffee for breaky was a bit ‘tight’ particularly when this is included at other hotels. Also, we weren’t advised we could order omelettes (would have been nice to know). Main disappointment was housekeeping. There were friendly however they never could do our room. One day at 3pm I called them to request a service and towels were changed, bins weren’t emptied (this was after 3 days). Our first night we had a lady come to do the nightly turndown and we never saw her again for the rest of our trip. A system where housekeeping could see that rooms were emptied and ready for service would be helpful! No placement for heavy lids Room bins not emptied, has to call housekeeping at 3pm-room wasn’t done. No extra blanket in room

Trovo INACCETTABILE che in un paese dove dai la patente a 17 anni vieti ad un 17enne di entrare nella piscina riscaldata o in bagno turco perchè non maggiorenne.Non è un bambino che urla o fa confusione........oltretutto mio figlio era già entrato in piscina e una signorina è venuta a farlo uscire.....è ridicolo e comunque ALMENO mettete un cartello!!!!Per non parlare dei piccioni che ci sono entrati in camera e hanno defecato ovunque....pazienza può succedere ma NON esiste debba aspettare quasi un'ora perchè mi puliscano la camera.....vergognoso!!!!!

Indigne du groupe ACCOR. Même pas un ibis. Vous réservez une chambre pour 8 heures et vous payez pour cela à notre arrivée 13 heures la chambre n'est pas prête. Nous insistons mais voilà que la catégorie supérieure spa n'est pas disponible. On nous propose un upgrade sans spa, nous finissons dans une chambre spa standard non rénovée. Le temps c'est arrêté en 1976, les commandes de la climatisation dont d'un autre siècle, mobilier en triste état. Le balcon vue mer est d'une saleté sans nom et il faut exiger que quelqu'un vienne le nettoyer en expliquant qu'il y a 200 chambres. La vue mer donne sur le chantier de la piscine et il faut souffrir le bruit du chantier. Évidemment piscine et jacuzzi sont inaccessibles, sans avoir averti le client auparavant. Tâches suspectes aux murs plafonds et sol. Je passerai sous silence les toilettes tellement petite qu'il faut les utiliser la porte ouverte, ou les moisissures dans les joints ou le bouchon du spa. Membre du programme de fidélité nous avons la chance d'avoir un verre d'accueil, mais le bar est fermé, le room service n'est pas joignable au téléphone. Et pour finir on vous amene deux coupes recouverte de film plastique qui ne seront pas retiré par le personnel.Bref payer ce prix pour cela est purement scandaleux.
