A very well located hotel with rail, subway and buses just outside. Quite and clean modern rooms. Excellent breakfast. Most noticeably was how friendly and kind all the staff were. We felt very welcome and at ease. Located a 20 minute walk from park d’or and free zoo which i highly recommended.

We had a pleasant, comfortable and safe time in the Mercure Charpennes. Due to the covid restrictions, breakfasts were brought to the rooms and there was no daily cleaning in the rooms, which is of course unusual but made us feel totally safe. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

Stayed for two nights. Nice comfortable beds. Soundproofing good. Very close to the metro and tram. Easy to get to any part of the city, we didn't have the breakfast as we prefer a coffee and croissant in a local boulongerie. Staff really friendly and helpful. Will return next February.

It was absolutely a pleasant stay, the room is very clean, quiet, hotel location is just great with easy accessibility to the city center. Breakfast is very well presented U can almost find everything U want from the buffet. Staff are very professional and kind too. I will definitely come back again.

Very nice breakfast with many choice to every body and vegan also. Good hotel with large room A fantastic shelter to visit Lyon with a lot of choice of public in front the hôtel. The food was also right and tasty at the restaurant
