For those who want to visit the medieval citadel without rushing, this hotel, created from an old farmhouse, is an excellent choice: located a few steps from the main entrance of the Cité, it allows a quiet stay enjoying green spaces otherwise unobtainable within the walls (and it also has free private parking). The staff is kind and helpful, the rooms and common areas show careful attention to detail, breakfast is good and dinner - at the restaurant "La Table de l’Olivier" - offers a delicious three-course menu (which changes every day) at an affordable price. Our room, a junior suite, was large and comfortable and with a view of the walls.

I have just had a pleasant stay at this hotel which is perfectly located for the old city. The room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed, bedding and pillows. The public area were stylish and relaxing and the staff were friendly and helpful. But. I found the "hospitality" tray a little strange. I have never stayed in a hotel, even a budget one, where there were only paper cups on offer to make a drink with boiling water! Just the standard cups you would get at a water fountain. One opinion on this is that it's a cost saving measure so that they don't have to wash crockery up, but from a guest experience point of view, I thought it was very lacking in "hospitality"! Not very inspiring as you can see from the pic. Also, on leaving a note for housekeeping for milk, I was told I had to ask at reception. So I had a cup of black coffee, topped up with cold water, just so that I could hold it without burning myself. Also, they don't allow plastic bottles in the rooms - not really sure how they would police that if someone brought a bottle of water in in their rucksack or handbag? Other than that, a really lovely stay.

I think there was a misunderstanding; you can bring a plastic water bottle; it's not prohibited. For ecological reasons, we no longer provide them in your rooms and instead have a filtered water fountain with glass bottles available. For your information, the reception is open 24/7. The location of the hotel is ideal as it’s just a short walk to both the old city and the many restaurants on Rue Trivalle. There is plenty of free parking on site. We had a very good stay here and would recommend it. The staff on reception were really welcoming and always happy to help. We stayed in a prestige room which was spacious, had all the facilities we needed and was impeccably clean. The hotel has a pleasant lounge area and a lovely garden and terrace but they could do with another member of staff in the evening as it was often very difficult to get a drink at the bar with the staff busy in the restaurant. Breakfast was good with lots of choice but the layout of the buffet area could be improved as it is very cramped and again they need another member of staff in order to welcome guests, clear tables and keep the breakfast stocked. The breakfast staff were lovely but were rushed off their feet most mornings.

Accommodation for 1 night as part of tour group was a comfortable experience, No fridge or towel racks in the room however hair dryer was provided, Room had a window, pillows were small and soft and wardrobe space was open and adequate. Lounge area is small and water dispenser near lobby was a welcomed feature. Breakfast was OK and drink prices reasonable. Large beer and white wine was 16 euros. There is a coffee machine with pods in the dining room offering adequate options.

Very poor service

Got to hotel around 4 plus and room is still not ready. Unreal. There are 3 of us and we told them to make sure to setup the 3rd bed. Was told no problem. Went into room and 3rd bed was not setup as expected. Had dinner there. Chicken tough as rock. Breakfast ran out of food and have to wait for refill. So poor!
