Nice hotel, value for money. Very kind personnel. Room was really clean, bit small but no problem for 1 person. Would recommend to book a larger one if you’re two. Location straight across from the main station is very handy. Lots of trams and busses start here. Also the Navette bus to the airport. Will come again.

Really close to the train station and a few diff trams and buses options into the city which takes 10-25 mins. Very easy to buy the 10-journey ticket from the train station or via the machine. There are other ibis around, be careful when searching on Map. We eventually use the full address

Reasonable budget hotel

Chose to stay in this budget hotel for one night, due to its proximity to the train station. It is in a good location for the Gare Saint Jean. For a budget hotel, it is a reasonable price and I would use again. Although room and shower were small, both were clean. Enjoyed breakfast which had a good choice.

We only spent 12 hours there due to an early flight, but we could not fault this hotel Rooms are compact but bright and in good condition. A small bar in reception and pizzas to order . Very pleasant welcome in reception. Cannot comment on breakfast

No air-conditioning

The air conditioning is not turned on. It is early May 2023 and is very warm at 26 degrees. But the hotel reception told us that the air-con doesn’t get turned on at this time of the year. It is much hotter in the room then outside. The shower was very weak. It kept changing from hot to cold. The towels are worn out and very thin. We paid over 100 euros a night. Very overpriced but it is Bordeaux. I would give this Ibis a miss as well as Bordeaux.
