Excellent hotel in Antwerp

An excellent hotel with the best staff you could need especially the bar tenders. Only a fifteen minite walk to Antwerp centre. The hotel is located in a square with many bars and resturants, my favorite was Den Antitigoon which is opposite the hotel.

Comfortable budget room, with a decent breakfast.

Short solo trip. Comfortable room. Perfectly adequate for the hotel class and price point. Breakfast contained only a few hot items (scrambled eggs, bacon lardons, sausages), but also included a boiled egg machine, and a do-it-yourself waffle iron which made great waffles. Plenty of cold meats, cheese, cereals, and nuts. There were also 2 bean to cup coffee machines to make all of the coffee selections.

Small hotel close to a subway station. I wouldn’t consider this centrally located, it’s about a 20 minute walk to the cathedral. But the subway is close and can get you around conveniently. There was a market on Saturday across the street from the hotel which was great and a really fun experience.

Great location and nice bars and park nearby

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this hotel to find it right in the middle of a selection of nice bars and restaurants, 2 mins walk from the tram with a direct link to the main train station. We also took the tram and metro to sportpeilis from here and it only took us 30 mins door to door. You can take the tram to the old town and it’s about 5 mins walk to Stradpark which is a lovely park for a stroll. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size with a nice view at sunset. The only thing I would say would make it better would be a kettle and tea and coffee facilities and a smart tv with Netflix linkup. Other than that- we couldn’t fault it. It was always nice and clean and the staff were friendly. Speedy checkout was good as well with us having to leave at 4:30am. Oh and free filtered water refill in reception.

This was a family visit with my beautiful and vivacious young wife, our beautiful daughter and her fiancé. We visited Antwerp for the 80th anniversary of the Liberation. The hotel is well located on the Theatre Place, where there are great weekend markets. Lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. It is an easy walk from the Central Station and main shopping areas. The rooms are perhaps a little dated (lack of sockets) but are well maintained and very clean. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. Usual Ibis free quality WiFi. Highly recommended!
