Stayed one night. Made the reservation on booking.com. The night before, got a notificatioin asking to do online check-in on their native app to get a welcome gift. So we did that. Arrived at check-in. Friendly and efficient staff member checked us in. He did not know anything about a gift but did mention as we booked on booking.com we would not be eligible anyhow. So why then send me an email promising stuff you wont deliver? I guess just to get my data and in order to get that luring me into something that was never planned to happen in the first place. Such behavior has a name I need not mention here. The room is very tiny. Do not bring any bags other than one small carry-on. Slept ok but any movement, especially doors being shut, anywhere on the floor wakes you up. Cleanliness: ok. Hardware: run down. WLAN: works. Shower/bathroom. Very small and tiny. Parking: next door in the public parking. Probably not a place I would recommend (knowing well that we were lucky given the place appeared to have been almost empty).

The hotel is in the center of the city 4 minutes for the train station! The staff friendly with a smile , nice clean rooms and the breakfast was tasty with many fresh fruits. I think I will visit ibis in the next visit 100%! I think is ok the value for money!

I have stayed at about 50 different Ibis hotels around the world. This was one of the worst stays. The hotel is of older standard and is in need of renovation. The rooms lack AC and there wasn't even a table fan in the room. It got extremely hot in the room, we couldn't have the windows open because there was a big thunderstorm during the night. The bed felt lumpy so we looked under the sheets, there was a thick blanket that we wondered why it was there. At night we understood why, we were dripping with sweat and hardly slept a wink the whole night. Stay away, at least in the summer.

It's a good hotel, close to the train station but not to the city center. The hotel building is quite solid and apparently soundproof inasmuch as hardly any noise is audible in the room with the exceptions of the door slams made by other guests. The room I was allocated isn't very big, but it was comfortable after all, particularly the bed, in which I could have a good rest. The bathroom was also adequate for the pertinent needs. There was no kettle available either in the room or from the reception. I had thus to betake myself to the hotel bar every time I needed hot water to prepare a tea. It's perhaps the only negative point. The staff is, in general, kind and helpful, especially a Thailandese lady working at the front desk, who gave me all kind of information on the places worth being visited in Augsburg and how to go to them. She was really nice and professional. The breakfast is good. One can have all that is needed for the body to carry out the relevant functions when on holiday. By and large therefore, that hotel is a good place to stay in Augsburg. That's why I should recommend it to any one going to that city.

We chose this hotel because of the short distance from the train station - and the price. Considerably cheaper than other hotels in Augsburg. Our room was of course small but unlike some Ibis hotels we actually had room to turn around. Everything was very clean and new looking. The king size bed was so comfortable. Only 2 pillows but you can ask for more. Only 2 small thin bath towels but again - just ask for more if you need them. The staff in this hotel are really helpful and friendly. Before we arrived I was thinking “ oh no we are in an Ibis!” Today I am checking out thinking “that was a really nice stay!”
