Hotel is at a very good location accessible easily by public transport. There are many food and drink places near it or at walking distance. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff was very friendly, kind and focused on client pleasure. Breakfast was satlsfactory. We left very happy to get the service of that we had paid.

I have been staying at this hotel for more than 5 years. I have had multiple stays here and always a pleasure. the management is great, the staff is always wonderful. the rooms are ALWAYS spotlessly and the location is perfect. can't wait to return to ibis opera, our "home away from home"

Booked this for self and sister. It was among the cheapest options for a short stay in Paris. Room was small but quiet and had everything we needed (apart from a kettle!) The only drawback was the bathroom was an awkward shape and quite difficult to use (room 115). But it was a very convenient location for where we wanted to go, near Metro lines, and there are lots of trendy bistros and bars around there (Bastille area). We found the receptionists very helpful. However, wouldn't recommend the breakfast, it seemed expensive for what it is, and there are many cafes around the area which you can use instead.

My stay at this hotel was satisfactory but not exceptional. I'm not certain I would stay there again but only because it is the bare basics, in my opinion, like staying in a student dorm room. Clean room with bed, toilet, shower... and nothing else and no room for anything else. The bathroom sink and shower were the size of what you might find in a mobile home/trailer. Tiny. Not sure how most people would fit in the shower let alone turn around in it or shave one's legs. The storage areas for clothes and personal items were also tiny. But again... the room was clean! Housekeeping did visit every day (unless I hung the DND on the doorknob). I included breakfast with my stay but would NOT recommend that. The pastries were fine, but the coffee and scrambled eggs were not. I had toast and soft-boiled eggs each morning... no variety to speak of. Location is great! Area of the Bastille that is not touristy with lots of food options and walkable to many sightseeing areas. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I do believe there are more opportunities for environmental consideration, like housekeeping not changing the towels every day and guests reusing them, or actual glassware at the breakfast buffet instead of paper cups for water (they did have mugs available for coffee). Thank you.

Would recommend with the hope large groups of people are placed together away from other people in the hotel

Good value. Comfortable beds. As expected with Ibis, small bathroom closet. Excellent breakfast but a better layout would make the queues less and I think people would take less food if they could go backwards and forwards for different things such as an egg and bread area. Pastrie area. Cereal and milk and yogurt area. Sadly a group from Kazakhstan were staying. The noise levels at night were unbearable. I had very little sleep with them running around corridors, etc at 1 am and again 3 am and again 4.30 am. Two nights in a row. The night managers did their best but sadly the group did not understand.
