For one night and one night only! Welcome was tepid although the lady at departure was much more friendly. Room was ok and at least it had a fan in it 👍 Guy at the bar said they don’t do food and then there’s a pizza menu on the bar - huh? He wasn’t friendly neither. When we wanted to redeem our drinks vouchers he said ‘small’ for the beers - like we had a choice! 🤣 Breakfast was ok, location is good at the top end of the old town 👍

Great location for the old town. Lots of parking near by some free. Rooms small but well appointed with a lot of thought going into making the most of the space. Bathroom small but has an excellent shower. Breakfast was substantial particularly enjoyed the fresh orange juice. Whole place was clean and tidy. Had friendly helpful staff. Would recommend.

Find a new role for the Receptionist

Our arrival at our destination from England and expecting our customary warm and professional welcome were met with a receptionist who was clearly in the wrong profession. Shown no curtesy made to feel as if she was doing us a favour by staying there. Unsmiling and quite cold in her manner and on our return from the town for a last night drink we, other guests were made to feel once again uncomfortable so much so we felt she just didn’t want to be there.

Small rooms and no air conditioning

We arrived on a very hot night to find no air conditioning although a fan was provided. The street was noisy outside so opening a window was not an option. We had stayed the previous night at an Ibis Styles in Poitiers where the standard of luxury and room size was far superior and of course air conditioning standard. Nice shower, comfortable bed and good breakfast to be fair. And all the staff were uniformly helpful but it was not a comfortable night.

Overpriced tiny room

Good location but room was tiny and overpriced. Staff never asked how our stay was. Broken hairdryer reported on day 2 still broken on day 8.
