The Rotary is centrally located and a very short walk will take you to the lake and old town. My room was a good size and I had a very peaceful sleep. The hotel is tucked away in some side streets, so I expect most rooms share the tranquillity that I enjoyed. The décor of my room (and the hotel at large) felt slightly old-fashioned. It’s as if someone had set out, in the 2020s, to recreate the appearance of a late 1990s / early 2000s chain hotel. Still, nothing about my room felt tired or shabby – it was just decorated in a new-old style which may not be to everyone’s taste. The breakfast buffet was good. Initial appearances suggested that the choice of items would be quite limited. It’s true that the buffet lacks the sheer acreage of those offered at other hotels, but the food is tasty and plentiful.

The hotel had no HVAC working, the room was sweltering, and I was offered a Fan. If I wanted a Fan, I could have stayed in a one-star hotel and saved my money. Construction was outside the hotel, and I had to open the window due to the heat. The street noise kept us awake all night, and then, in the morning, the construction started. They do a terrible job recognizing the Accor loyalty program; we received none of the promised benefits.

When you get into the hotel, it smells extensively like a parfumerie. It’s the breakfast room as well . Service is nice at the entrance and helpful. Technogym needs maintenance desperately , the elliptical is cracking with every movement and after 60 Minutes it’s bothering quite a bit . (Technicien from Technigym can fix that easily. Software update needed as well) There was no water or so at the disposal. 4.50SFR to get a bottle. The rooms are nice but shower and toilet seats etc need maintenance . The breakfast 35 SFR pp is ok , but scrambled eggs made on demand are dry . Gluten free bread is available. Fruits and yogurt are good , bread needs more variety. Overall the hotel is in need of an overhaul. The beds are great - Accor comfort .

This is a decent choice of hotel in Geneva, very well located, a short walk from the train station and close to shopping and restaurants. Easy walk to the old town. The room was nice, spacious, cozy, and elegant. The bed was comfortable. Front desk service was excellent. Breakfast was ok, with made-to-order eggs that were terrible one day and excellent the next, and bread that wasn't terribly fresh. Service at breakfast was generally good. Housekeeping was top-notch, making several adjustments based on my preferences which they intuited simply from how I set up the room (e.g., left a tissue box on the nightstand and added a new one in the bathroom as well). Kept my things where I left them even after tidying up rather than moving them elsewhere or throwing them haphazardly on the floor (which has happened!). The major downside of this hotel is that the room was terribly stuffy and hot, even in cool-ish temps in October (though fairly high humidity), and while they say they have A/C, the in-room thermostat didn't seem to do a thing to make things cooler, and I can't believe the temperature was actually what the thermostat claimed it was. I had to leave the screen-less windows open for hours to try to cool the room down enough to sleep, and shortly after closing them, the room would just become stuffy again. For this reason only, I'd probably look elsewhere in Geneva.

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed in for a city break. Our room was 714 and a 'signature' room with an included mini bar in the small vestibule with tea and coffee facilities too. Our bed was gloriously comfortable with real quality bedding and lovely pillows. It was a large room with plenty of plugs and quality carpet. There was a delightful bathroom with a superb shower (I want one like it at home) and plenty of fluffy white towels. There were also bathrobes and slippers. The lifts were fast and very reliable, we never had to wait more than seconds. Breakfast was included and was quality, part buffet part ordered hot meal. The staff in this hotel were helpful and friendly. I am glad I was not deterred by some of the reviews (some are not recognisable as being this hotel) because this is a real find in a lovely city. The lake is very close as is the old town. It is also handy for the bus station for tours. This hotel deserves highest recommendation and I would be happy to return anytime and will recommend it to anyone I know is going to Geneva. Thank you to all the staff.
