Ein Ort an dem man sofort runterkommt und einfach genießen kann Manchmal gibt es Orte die schaffen es, dass man direkt einen Gang zurückschaltet und genau so ein Ort ist das Sofitel in Rom. Was sofort auffällt ist das unglaublich zuvorkommende Personal. Es ist aufmerksam präsent und dabei angenehm entspannt. Der Ausblick ist schlicht beeindruckend morgens mit Kaffee oder abends mit einem Glas Wein. Dieser Blick bleibt im Gedächtnis. Besonders stark ist auch die Ruhe. Mitten in Rom so eine entspannte Atmosphäre zu finden ist selten und macht den Aufenthalt nochmal wertvoller. Kulinarisch spielt das Hotel ganz vorne mit. Die Küche ist auf hohem Niveau mit einer klaren französischen Handschrift, fein abgestimmt und kreativ. Am Ende bleibt vor allem ein Gefühl. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Alles war perfekt organisiert und lief genau so, wie man es sich wünscht.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Rom. Das Hotel wirkt hochwertig allerdings bekam ich trotz meines Memberships kein Begrüßung Getränk wie üblich. Ich bekam auch kein Upgrade des Zimmers, das war enttäuschend. Hier erwarte ich von einem Sofitel und deren Preise, die sie verlangen, deutlich mehr.

Es war Valentinstag, leider konnten wir keinen Tisch beim Dinner im Hotel reservieren, daher kümmerten wir uns selber um eine Alternative, hatten ein Dinner im "Mirabelle Restaurant", das wer hervorrangend, erst nach mehrmaliger Kritik keinen Tisch zuerhalten, empfehlte das Hotel dieses Restarant (zu spät), Klimaanlage war defekt, daher Wasser im Flur, Silberfisch im Zimmer, zum Frühstück hätten wir uns mehr "glutenfreie" Produkte gewünscht. Ein gutes Stadthotel, für uns keine 5-Sterne vom Service und Preis- Leistung. Positiv war der Spät-Check-Out eines Zimmer.

Master-Bett war komplett durchgelegen. Hatte noch nie so Rückenschmerzen wie bei diesem Aufenthalt. TV Programm gehen z.T. nicht und für diese Klasse an Hotel ist das sehr befremdlich. Ansonsten tolles Hotel. Sehr guter Service und tolle Lage.
