It's a great location minutes from Versailles Chateau. Very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom and private separate toilet room. Carpeting is a bit old and only one elevator worked in the hotel. The other was broken for our 3 day stay. Breakfast buffet was just okay but some mornings no eggs or even water. When we checked in at 9 pm in the eve, there were no tables at the restaurant. The front desk said my wife and I could eat with a more limited menu at the lobby bar. We took his advice and the bar server said there's no food service in the bar area. He suggested room service. We called room service from our room and was told there's no food left for a club sandwich. We were told 20 minutes for a cheese plate and it came in over 45 minutes. The hotel is adequate and acceptable but 3 stars is generous. No concierge. When we asked for any advice (like Catholic Mass times) they said "just go there". Any interaction with the front desk staff felt like we were imposing on their time. Disclaimer: My wife and I have been traveling for 6 weeks throughout Spain and Portugal in all 5 star hotels.

Really a good hotel - large bedrooms - conveniently located near the palace - very good cleaning team - quick rooms and comfortable beds - bathroom modern and clean with lovely essentials products - convenient parking located just underneath the hotel

My stay at Le Louis was excellent! The property is lovely, great location due to proximity to the Chateau Versailles as well as the town of Versailles but most of all - the staff was fabulous! The front desk operation, headed by David, was superlative. Any requests for assistance was met with a professional, prompt, as well as pleasant response and/or solution. Also I found the rooms lovely - mine had a balcony - beautiful view overlooking the nearby park area - the bathroom terrific with a shower system easy to figure out! Clarins toiletries provided. Also I liked the desk configuration - great if you need to work. Le Louis is a delightful blend of the old world with necessary modern touch to accommodate today's travelers.

After a long-distance drive from Dinard, we are really happy to arrive at Le Louis Versailles Chateau. Fast check-in and check-out process. Besides the refreshing tea dispenser in the lobby, we also receive a welcome drink to be enjoyed at the beautifully decorated bar. Really appreciate the assistance from the Front Office team, in the handling of our luggage. The rooms are also very nice. A bit of hindrance with the chandelier but happy with the view from our windows. Will stay here again, it is within walking distance of the Palace of Versailles. We were not able to visit the Palace due to some strike, so must plan to come again to Versailles.

This hotel has a great location and has had lots of improvements from many years ago. The rooms have been redesigned and renovated with modern furnishings. Rooms are very large and comfortable. Location is the best because it is just a few blocks from Versailles and walking distance to all the restaurants in the area. Staff was friendly and efficient. They went beyond to help me catch a train to Chartre. They also were a tremendous help with anything you needed. The only suggestion is maybe move the massage chairs to a more discreet area in the lobby or an area with a screen. They were great after a long day but felt out of place in the middle of the lobby without a screen. Won’t hesitate to return or send my clients.
