Fabulous location. Two blocks from the Palace. Good restaurants in walking distance. Spent three nights here while visiting the Palace of Versailles and Gardens. Mamadou at the front desk was kind and solicitous. What we didn’t like.,,.odd smell in hall outside our room on the third floor. Breakfast room small with too few tables and they are slow to clear them so you can be seated. Furniture in breakfast room and lobby most uncomfortable. Too low or seats too deep to sit comfortably. Bar service slow and expensive Last but not least on our first day we arrived at about 11:30 and the got us into our room about 1:00. We decided to take a nap. I didn’t hear a knock … my husband says he did but before we knew it there was a woman in our room. She said sorry and wheeled around and went out. What was that all about???Really hate rooms that don’t have safety latches that you can secure while in your room.

Glad we stayed in Versailles instead of having a day trip

Easy to book, hotel communicated to us before we arrived, hotel looks great and location great for Chateau de Versailles, our restaurant we booked beforehand and train station even though we took an Uber. Check in was easy and friendly, room was clean and nice, bar service quick, did not eat any food, Quiet room, air con and lifts ok, check out easy. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel in a central location in Versailles with train stations all accessible by foot. Modern decor with a traditional twist. Rooms slightly bigger than average for France. Reception staff very polite and helpful. Lots of bars, restaurants and coffee shops on your doorstep and 5 minute walk from the palace entrance. Cannot comment on the gym/sauna as we didn't use it but the staff did give us suggestions on where we could go running. We didn't have breakfast as we were leaving early but the restaurant appeared very nice - my only compliant is that I asked for a plate from the restaurant and they replied 'we can't give plates for non hotel purchased food'! Come on this is not a decade ago when you used to have to smuggle food into a hotel as you were scared of getting 'caught', it's common place now for people to bring in coffees and even have food deliveries to the hotel. Had this incident not occurred then I would have reviewed the hotel at 5 *.

Great location, reception team is amazing. Restaurant could be better!

Rooms are big, bed super comfortable, Food is great but have a lots of cons with the service! Was expecting more professional service and more luxurious experience even, being in versailles, but my experience wasn’t great! Cleanliness was mediocre, finding hair everywhere in the room, bathroom not cleaned to the highest standards! Amenities in the bathroom not even changed or refilled I had to call reception!!! Reception team was great, the morning and evening team were awesome. Night duty manager was rude, making so unnecessary comments! I didn’t enjoy! Never been talked that way in my life because I asked for a glass of ice and to warm up some food I had! I really did not enjoy! Restaurant team, same bad experience, not cleaning the tables, when bringing extra items, we had to ask for that, then not really taking care of us, then same unnecessary comments on little things! I’m from Belgium, so I grew up talking about t’Le Luxe à la Française, I didn’t see it! I just saw the arrogance à la française. Very disappointed! Almost all of my colleagues complained about the same thing. Anyways, I’ve met great people at the bar on my last day, they elevated the experience! I forgot their names but they were amazing, both coming from Afro descendent countries.

We had great reception by Mezin. Excellent breakfast service by Rohan but Mr Michael spoiled our experience completely with his rude behavior. He refused to bring attend to us despite our request for bringing us tea. When called he refused to come to our table instead-Told us very rudely that we have to wait. I kept looking at him and he pretended to be busy doing nothing. Yet- when he saw that I was continuously looking at him, he came to our table and took my order for tea pot which he never delivered for next 20 minutes. Later Mr Rohan was nice and attended to all our needs. Rohan is a star. Amazing service to keep customers happy. Michael was exactly the opposite. Housekeeping staff did not change our towels that were thrown on ground both the days. Room was not cleaned properly. Hope the hotel can improve the working standards of these staff.
