Decent hotel along main downtown street. Fridge, coffee maker in room. Serves breakfast and has rooftop bar, pool area, exercise facility. Several elevators make it easier to access your room, though a couple are shut off in the later hours. Very good location if you arrive by train. From the airport the 2 tram will stop a few streets south. Large supermarket down the street. Number 1 tram access takes you to the heart of Old Nice in 3 minutes. My one issue was my sealed room windows and low volume breeze from the air conditioner.

I stayed here for 9 nights in September with my sister for a holiday and I cannot recommend it more. We had the BEST experience. The rooms are vey up to date, the rooftop is absolutely incredible and the gardens are so nice to have on top of a comfortable room! The staff, specifically Ergin Akan was so helpful everyday and he would always greet us with a smile and had a good recommendation for where we wanted to go. This made our trip SO much better and allowed us to get around with ease! We also loved Peter, everyone in the staff was so welcoming and friendly! Also if you come you must get the breakfast it was a highlight everyday! When I come back to Nice there is no doubt I will be staying here again I do not have a bad thing to say.

We stayed for 5 nights. Rooms clean but dated. Room was very warm. Front desk sent to repair but didn’t make much difference. They did shift us to diff room next day. They do not provide any moisturizer or shampoo conditioner etc. only give liquid soap in a pump bottle. No iron in room or with house keeping. You need to take cloths to 2nd floor to iron. Rooms good size for France. Location was excellent. Easy to go to promenade, old town., beach. Walkable and safe. Train & tram nearby and easy to travel to Cannes, Monaco, Eze, Antibes and others. Nice roof top bar. Supermarket, cafes, hair salons, pharmacy everything very nearby. Staff very polite and helpful.

Staff is trying hard but the hotel is not the 4* I am used to. My room smelled bad and looked shabby. No moisturizer, no conditioner in my bathroom - bring everything because there is only a soap. Gym is very small and machines not fully functional. Breakfast poor overall but they have a good coffee. Pool area and rooftop is very nice but small, room was bigger than French standard and location is safe.Checkin and Checkout was fast and all the personal was very helpful.

We stayed for 5 nights in August and had a good stay overall. One issue with the bar upstairs described below. We asked upon check-in if possible to have twin beds and staff were very helpful about this. Unfortunately the change was missed the next day despite us reminding Reception twice. We also ran out of shower gel and this was rectified too, but again after two follow up reminders and a call. These were minor niggles, the rest of our stay was pleasant, housekeeping were good and we enjoyed our holiday. We used the pool, which had fluffy, clean towels and loungers and initially we also enjoyed the bar (despite it being quite pricey as others have mentioned). Whilst waiting to order at the bar (I was the only person waiting), a male guest arrived well after me and ordered his drink. Upon my obvious surprise at this, he said he thought I was being served. I said actually I'm waiting to be served. He left and I ordered a beer, the bartender acknowledged my request and seemed to be getting this for me. The man returned, ordered a drink and the bartender who was serving me, served him immediately. The female bartender observed all of this, mouthed 'sorry' to me and asked me what drink I wanted. I was totally confounded and said to the bartender, '...you were serving me? ' The bartender replied, 'i have no words' and then turned away. The female bartender then asked me what I wanted and I reordered. I estimate I had been there 10 minutes by this point. (there were 3 members of staff behind the bar too!) When I paid later on, the female bartender again apologised. I have no idea why I received such poor service. I waited patiently, I had good eye contact and did not make a fuss when the man ordered over me either time. Whilst I appreciated the female bartender acknowledging the issue and apologising, it was absolutely not her place to apologise. We didn't go back to the bar and the incident left me feeling very uncomfortable. Shame as the staff on other days were lovely. I must also acknowledge that the guy who ordered over me was clearly not someone who felt he needed to wait in line for anything. He happily walked away with his beer, knowing very well I had been ignored and was still waiting to be served.
