First and foremost, our hotel room was comfortable and quiet. It overlooked the Hippodrome. Breakfasts were adequate but could use more choices. This hotel is located close to a river. But after hiking to the river, we found out that we have to climb up an embarkment to see the river which turned out to be not very scenic at all. From the hotel, it took us about 10 minutes of walking through boring residential area before we get to the edge of "downtown", and another 10 minutes to get to the beach, a minor inconvenience.

Booked and had confirmation of ground floor room for disabled couple Prepaid in August but on arrival were given top floor room no lift and 2 flights of stairs with 3 long corridors. No other room available Accor no help, no manager available reception useless.

Very friendly & comfortable hotel in a beautiful seaside town. Hotel looks like it’s been recently renovated, our superior room had a balcony overlooking the hippodrome. The staff were all very pleasant & helpful making us feel very welcome. Ample free secure parking on site. The centre of Cabourg is only around 15mins walk with plenty of restaurants & bars in this elegant old resort.

We have stayed in this hotel before albeit about 8 years ago. We had booked this time for 1 night on the way back from our holiday in cognac. 2 adults and we had our three dogs. We booked via booking.com. Check in was easy and our room was on the ground floor which was ideal with the dogs. They charge a supplement of €10 per dog. On this occasion we were only charged for one dog. The room rate was €244 including the supplement for dog but not including breakfast which would have been an additional €19 per person. The room was functional - that is best I could say. Alright for a one night stop over but would not like to stay for longer. Kettle in the room with sachet instant coffee and tea bags but no milk. No water in the room. Bed was comfy enough. Shower and bsthroom were fine and clean. We used the bar and had a couple of drinks. Service was friendly enough but not effusive. Racing was on opposite the hotel so we could sit out and watch which provided some entertainment before we walked to town centre which is a 10 min walk. Free parking available. All in all, a pleasant enough stay for 1 night although I thought it was a bit over priced. We would probably use it again if we were passing through.

Good stay BUT, rooms need renovations and breakfast is not that good Good location in a quit village. Looks good on the outside Good parking But the rooms are not of this time. To shower you have to get over the bath tub of at least 60 cm high. Old shower. Really needs update! Breakfast not that good First day it was old, next day better but same and no variety. Good stay but renovate the rooms !
