Finding wheat/gluten free places in France seems to be quite difficult. This hotel's restaurant does have "gluten free options" listed on the website so we after contacting them to make sure, we decided to book for our stopovers. Yes, they can provide gluten free bread, but you will have to ask for it and you may need to remind them (at our first breakfast they forgot we had asked for it, but on the second stopover the bread arrived very quickly). There are a couple of gluten free options for dinner, but again you may need to be a little bit persistent and double check what is on offer. Breakfast is a buffet, which can cause problems with cross contamination, but you can boil your own egg and the cheese options were possible. Not sure about the meat items as there was no description of what they contained. Butter, yogurt, fromage blanc etc are not in separate containers, but the bread is displayed on the opposite site of the room, so should reduce the chance of cross contamination. There is also fruit available. There are rice cakes and a few small gluten free biscuits - but it would be better to display them away from the gluten containing items. to sum up, it is possible to eat with a little care.

Stayed July 30-31, fully paid suite. We are Diamond. My wife was in great pain and walking on crutches and went to the reception while I was parking our car. The receptionists were totally indifferent and didn't offer her a seat. They are totally useless. We know the suites, they are OK though the bed is rather narrow. The amenities are fine, everything is clean. The really shocking part is the behaviour of the head barman about whom we already complained 2 or 3 years ago. When we asked what was available on the drink voucher he became so rude and even violent that we walked off. That is NOT ACCEPTABLE. We complained to the receptionists who just looked bored which is NOT ACCEPTABLE either. The dinner and breakfast were OK and the waitresses are an exception in this establishment because they are absolutely adorable. We will never stay there again. F.W.

We took stock with all our teams present, who were more astonished by your remarks in our lobby, because MR PICHARDIE the silence they had in the face of your conduct and remarks, was not synonymous with boredom but with astonishment. For your full information and all as our bar manager tried to explain to you, the Welcome drinks offered in our SOFITELs may be different from those offered in our Mercures. At ACCOR we give a real meaning to hospitality. Pleasant stay en route to South of France

We recently stayed at this hotel when travelling to and from the south of France. the hotel is located only a couple of minutes from the autoroute and very easy to find. Its only a 5 minute walk into town which is also a bonus. The hotel pool and surrounding area was a good, very clean and heated! The bar manager, Jean-Francois was very knowledgeable on local wines etc. As we had two younger children in the group we decided against the M7 restaurant and enjoyed the bar menu that was on offer. The suite we had was a little tired but very clean, bed comfortable, even the sofa bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good however on the return leg there was a large coach party in the hotel and this did cause a shortage on certain items.

Good hotel

The rooms are quite comfortable and very quiet. Personnel are friendly and helpful but they lack English skills. Parking is easy and ample. It is a little irony that we were entitle toa welcome drink, and been three guets we only get a voucher for one.

Great for an overnight stay

Stayed as an overnight stop en route to the Swiss Alps. Liked the location (close to autoroute but a short pleasant stroll to the city centre, service (friendly and efficient) and room (nicely furnished and spacious). €21 each for breakfast is too steep though. Outdoor pool looked popular but we didn’t have time to use it.
