I have been to many hotels all over the world and u have to say the Manager at the Novotel Darling Harbour Andrew is the best i have met. Andrew greeted us helped with my wife's emergency dry cleaning. Andrew personally delivered this back always had time for a chat and is the nicesy most efficient Manager we have ever met. Thanks andrew for making this a great stay.

We just had a standard room with 2 double beds. Room was clean but nothing special. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast at The Ternary with the nice view of the harbour. The small IGA store across the road was an advantage. Walking distance to Darling Harbour and the city. Just a bit disappointed with the treatment being an Accor Plus member, I was not given complimentary bottles of water. I usually get the niceties at other Accor hotels. Did online check in so getting our keys was quicker.

As usual all the staff were excellent, courteous and helpful. When checking in direct with the hotel the receptionist was very good with room selection including a couple of room type changes. Restaurant and bar service were carried out in a professional and friendly manner. This is the 5-6 time we have stayed at your hotel and it is still our hotel of choice in Sydney. Some minor issues are inadequate parking resources and a little disappointed with the room we were allocated. As a gold member upgrading to a room with a view would have been appreciated.

Stay soured by Accor buring loyalty points

The hotel is fine. My stay was soured by Accor who decided that because I didn't travel during COVID lockdowns they would burn 20,000+ points. I guess it was my fault for not paying attention to it. It is so hard to contact them as there is no phone number and staff in the hotels don't seem to have any way to assist either.

The hotel was everything we expected, clean, great staff & units serviced each day. Was very quiet & we were rewarded with an upgrade which we loved. Easy access to Darling Harbour although Darling Harbour was a little disappointing with a lot of the food court & shops closed down obviously due to Covid. Would recommend the Hotel to anyone that wished to stay & prices were very reasonable

Great position, good staff, rooms are nice with good views. Service in bar was great, breakfast was nice, the only downside was having to wait at reception for long periods. Loved wine and fruit platter for being Platinum member.

Have stayed here before for business so knew what to expect. However, this time, long queue for check in with only x 1 staff member at desk. Later on going to my room discovered plastic cups for drinking, paper cups for coffee and no cutlery. Rang to ask for a wine glass to be told I had to pay $5.00 for same!! Plastic/paper etc not really contributing to sustainability and to be told a proper glass would cost me $5 !! Complimentary drink voucher ,upon enquiry ,could only be collected from the bar, not delivered to my room. Everything else was fine just very surprised with the disposable products

We have not stayed at this hotel since ths start of covid . Very pleasantly surprised at how quickly it has returned to being one of our favourites.Staff very pleasant and facilities very good. Convenient to city centre and of course Darling Harbour. Going back again .

Had a great time, was so central to everything. Although the food wasn’t the best but the buffet breakfast was great! Although I got charged twice for my accommodation, pool was smaller then expected. But overall great trip!

breakfast and Dinner both days had very long queues had to go another restaurant . Bar service was slow also. as we stayed for 2 days staff did not know how to redeem parking ticket from the other parking station (parking was paid at reception desk.

PLEASE NOTE THIS POOR RATING REFLECTS ACCOR SERVICE NOT Novotel. I enjoyed the hotel very much and decided to extend the stay an extra night using Accor points, got the reservation and Novotel staff could not access my points, "please keep the room I will call and settle with Accor", next morning before the booking extension started I called Accor at 8am till 8.30am but noone was answering despite 8am advertised as phone hours open so I could not understand or address issues and had to pay for the room. It turns out Accor believed a phishing attack or similar and suspended my account so I could not use points and the earliest I find out is when its to late to use points hence I paid $300 for a night I would have opted not to stay for if this was known. WORSE this is the 2nd consecutive time I have tried to use points and had exactly the same issue, previously for a 1 week family holiday in Queenstown. Accor this is a TERRIBLE experience and has now happened repeatedly, the user experience has made me ANGRY and considering other chains, I would plan to stay as I like the hotels etc and convenience is great BUT your systems are engineered for repeated bad experiences. How can you fix this, perhaps a phone call to the member to notify them of an issue so you can be sure they are aware and can avoid this kind of experience as it REALLY SUX and makes using points full of expensive surprises rather than the pleasant experience they are designed for!

My children and I stayed for 2 nights, the hotel is modern, has a wonderful restaurant, is in a central location close to the city, is close to the darling Harbourside shopping centre with accessible walking bridges, staff were very friendly, professional and welcoming which made our stay a pleasant and relaxing holiday and we had incredible views over looking the harbour. We look forward to coming back in the near future. Thank you Novotel Darling Harbour!

Upon arrival at the hotel we were felt to feel very special from the Concierge Eddie, and over the next couple of days by all members of staff that we encountered. The hotel is almost back to full capacity after Covid, and we appreciated their efforts in making our stay as comfortable as possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel. We will certainly be booking a stay again in the near future.

The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. Also the concierge was vey pleasant and kind.the room was very clean. We could not fault the breakfast as a coupe of people are Gluten intolerant and the Gluten free food was kept separate from the rest of the food. The variety of food at breakfast catered was great.

Plastic cups as wine glass and paper cups for coffee is totally unacceptable and is what I dont expect as the normal standard at Accor hotels. Photos taken. When I called housekeeping, operator told me I have to put and deposit for wine glass and coffee mugs. ridiculous. Bed and beddings - 2 pillow only have to ask more from room service. Toilets - no glass provided for brushing teeth.

We recently stayed 1 night as we had booked in to a comedy show at the Ooera House. While there are Accor hotels close to the venue we booked Novotel Darling Harbour as it is a favourite of ours and not available for a while due to Covid. Our stay was amazing from start to finish. Simon rang us while we were driving in to explain parking arrangements and that we were upgraded to a suite overlooking Darling Harbour. Food at Ternary bar was amazing, we are looking forward to the restaurant reopening in near future. Staff all very efficient and pleasant. Our room spacious and very quiet.

the line up at reception to check in was long took 15mins. the rooms have been update but no port to charge phone nor bath sheets (unlike ibis next door). Restaurant not open for dinner (went next door to ibis) lifts terrrible! after waiting for 10 mins it was quicker to go up to top floor then ride down for breakfast and check out

booked 2 rooms with 2 double beds, rooms were right beside each other and the beds were great. Super friendly staff at check-in Enjoyed a house spirit with my complimentary drink voucher. Meals at the Ternary Bar were excellent. The pork sliders on point and the dim sims probably the best I have ever eaten! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

stay was comfortable, except the aircon was not working in the main room. that was bugger, except that it was wonderful stay. staff was helpful at front desk. had nice food in restaurants. parking can be little more economical. :)

Booked 2 rooms at the Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour for 3 nights. Stayed in the Executive Rooms with Darling Harbour views on the 9th floor one with Double beds (bit tight especially with teens) and the other room Queen bed (lots of space). View was great. Food at the bar and room service was amazing, relaxed vibe in the restaurant/lobby area, cocktail hour was amazing and location is its greatest asset. As Accor platinum members we were well taken care of with the exception of not receiving room upgrades whilst all our friends (also members with one room each) obtained amazingly great upgrades.
