For years, I’ve traveled across Thailand but never explored Rayong—until now. As a long-term tourist, I finally took the time to visit this hidden gem, and what a wonderful discovery! Close to Bangkok yet far from the crowds, Rayong offers an authentic, natural Thai experience. Staying at Novotel Rayong Rim Pae Resort was a delight. The resort is right on the beach, impeccably clean, and the staff are genuinely friendly and professional. Whether you're a family or a couple, it’s perfect for relaxation. The peaceful atmosphere was a welcome escape from busy tourist spots. Go Rayong! A special thanks for the room upgrade as an ALL Silver member—much appreciated! One small suggestion: reopen the pool table room so I can challenge my friends over a good drink 😉 I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

The white sands of Novotel Rayong Rim Pae Resort offers a peaceful retreat with stunning views across the Gulf of Thailand. This 4 stars resort has newly renovated rooms, suites, and villas, blending modern comfort with tropical serenity—ideal for couples, families, and solo travellers alike. There are three restaurants and a pool bar, serving Thai, international, and Italian cuisine, with beachfront dining. Our sea-facing room on the third floor had a spacious balcony. Housekeeping was excellent, ensuring a spotless and comfortable stay.

Lovely stay for a nice few days away.

Nice hotel with good facilities. Great beach. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Was great that they run a shuttle sevice in the mornings to Ban Pae and back at lunch time. Rooms very clean and modern with a private balcony. Good hotel for kids and families

Stayed here 05/02 to 09/02. This hotel is recommended for those who like resort hotels with all that they entail and are not sensitive to noise. A classic resort hotel with all that it entails. Before arrival we wanted a quiet room high up, to our surprise we got a room high up closest to the parking lot and the road, not exactly our idea of ​​a quiet room. We pointed this out and got the answer that it was the only available room in that category. When we asked how much an upgrade would cost, the answer was 11 USD per night. Went and looked at the room and thought it was completely okay. When we decided and came back, the price suddenly changed to 21 USD/night, we refused and got through the agreed price after many sighs and sour looks from the staff. Absolutely zero customer service and totally disrespectful towards us as customers. Generally, the general customer service was very low, the nicest was the cleaning staff. Pros: Located by the sea. Several pools in the area. Well-cleaned rooms. Refrigerator. Kettle. Cons: General customer service is very low. Wake up early if you want a sun lounger. As early as 06:00 am, the towels are out. The hotel has a party room that is rented out on weekends, so if you want peace and quiet, you should choose another hotel on weekends. Extremely expensive breakfast on site 16USD. The selection was also not extremely large, so very little food for the money. A serious problem is that it seems that the hotels in the area have a monopoly on taxi trips. This means trips are twice as expensive as, for example, Grabb. We paid 9USD from Rayong to the hotel, the hotel's taxi first wanted 23USD back to Rayong, after some discussion the price ended up at 18USD. So don't forget to pre-order Grabb for the trip from the hotel.

Novotel to spokojny, kameralny hotel. Mieliśmy piękny pokój premier z remontowaną łazienką w balkonem na ogród. W pokoju suszarka, czajnik, codziennie nowe butelki wody, kosmetyki. Wszędzie bliziutko do basenów, plaży. Bardzo dobre śniadanka. Jedyny minus daleko do Rayongu i zakupów w okolicy żadnych się nie zrobi. Ale o tym wiedzieliśmy. Super masaże na plaży albo usługa w hotelu trochę drożej, lub na lewo od hotelu masują panie Tajki też na plaży i taniej. Polecam.
