A very comfortable airport hotel

Stayed a few nights to follow the Tour de France. It's located away from Lille centre, free parking. Normal taxi is EUR 30 and Uber much cheaper to the centre, about 10-15 drive from Lille centre. Hotel reception has lots of interesting chairs. We stayed in the Privilege King room. We had 1 bath robe and 1 pair of slippers for the 2 of us in the room! Plenty of power sockets, including by the bedside which is handy. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. No bath. The shower cubicle can be very slippery, there's no shower mat. Separate hair conditioner mounted on wall. Also body lotion mounted on wall. Vanity pack includes cotton buds, facial cotton and emory board. The bathroom door doesn't stay shut! There's a mini fridge with complimentary bottles of water and juice. Nespresso coffee capsule and sachets of tea, but no milk! We had to ask for a cup of milk at the bar. There's a complimentary jar of sweets. It was very quiet, either we had no neighbours, or the sound proofing was excellent. Every disposable items in the room was in paper rather than plastic, including the sanitary waste bag, laundry bag. Breakfast was overall good, adequate selection, dry and boil your own eggs. Crepes available, 4 different types of juices. The last day when we were there very early, just after 6am, the scrambled eggs was stone-cold!! We don't understand why that is, it was disappointing. Certain tables has USB and power sockets, handy for charging phones. Dinner menu was excellent and the food was highly recommended. However, although we paid for half board, we told the front of house we had paid for dinner, and expected to be asked for our room number, which he didn't, and showed us the apparently a la carte menu which we discovered we had to pay for after the meal!! We tried to explain after our meal that dinner should be included, we were told it's a different menu, but we were not given that option by the front of house. We were then asked for our dinner ticket, which we didn't realise we had. The tickets were stapled to the key card holder, and the check-in person didn't tell us or explain the process to us! The tickets didn't say 'dinner' on them! They were kind enough to waive the cost of that dinner in the end. We skipped the first dinner, so it probably didn't cost the hotel, and we discovered most of the set menu were similar to the a la carte menu, which were great selection, food was excellent! However, they did run out of Heineken 0 on a weekend! As a runner, I ran around the hotel compound, I don't think it was possible to run outside of the hotel compound. It was about 0.3 miles one round of the hotel compound. Some times I had to change the direction as there's a security with a dog! Overall, I highly recommend this airport hotel, we enjoyed our stay despite a few flaws. It would benefit from better communication from the staff to fully inform guests of instructions, and please check and avoid your scrambled eggs from being cold, and ensure drinks are well stocked up. Funky little hotel. Fun’s swing chairs at a table in bar. Very weird room set up but bed was comfortable. Hotel does NOT provide conditioner. Breakfast buffet was vast and tasty. Were there with a tour group and the group dinner was horrid. AC works very well.

The hotel was clean and the room relatively spacious. Bathroom was more updated than the room. Free parking available but a car is necessary since the hotel is located in a concrete wasteland that isn’t walkable to anything. Ok for one night but wouldn’t stay longer.

Good road trip location with some restaurants around

I choose the hotel purely based on the location as it was a convenient stop on my road trip. Plus, the hotel supposedly had a charger for my electric vehicle. The hotel is spread out widely, with long hallways to get to the rooms. Interior is what you would expect from a Mercure. Everything very basic and functional. Room was also basic but comfortable with a good bathroom. Nothing to complain about. Interior of the hotel (apart from the reception and restaurant) was a little scrubby. There's a restaurant in the hotel but I choose to go to one of the eateries that are in the vicinity of the hotel. There are a few option ins the area even when its far from any city center. Probably because it is easily accessible by car. I did manage to charge my car but only after downloading and activating the Zevhyre app. It is not compatible with well know charge cards such as Shell Recharge or Plugsurfing.

Located outside Lille, within 10 mins you can reach city center. Free parking, good sized rooms. We loved the staff and the ambiance in the lobby. They have a childrens corner with toys. So we could enjoy our evening coffee, while the kids enjoyed themselves. Breakfast wss nice, fresh products and a kids table! Great for a weekend.
